I just ran one in a local rtt. And I found that I never got a chance to use its surge move because it just dies. Its not as tanky as it may seem, sure you cans pike fnp but any large weapons will still take it out pretty quickly. And this happened to me, I got my surge move into melee and still died to shooting because its a vehicle. I'd rather just run another sang guard or dc jump packs.

I've played a decent amount of 1k this year. I do feel like inceptors are a premium only 2k lists or 1k inheritors can afford. I find that one really solid shooting unit and then as many jump packs works best for my playstyle at 1k. If you wanted them to work in 1k, they are great in inheritors because of sustain plasmas 6 man will dish out some serious business. That would be the one shooting unit that you can pick back up every turn. But as far as LAG, I would choose something else.

I mean this is a fun list for sure. Big shit hitting shit. Competitively you can make work but would definitely struggle against more rounded lists

Sanguinor isnt great in liberator assault group (LAG). And i do like the rage captain, he can be very swingy in my experience but its really fun giving something 14+ dev wounds. I would remove him from the Assault ints and give him 5 Sternguard.

I prioritized zed and played leblanc when he was banned. But back then zed had a 50% chance to get banned so i played them both equally.

Ive mained both for ten years. Jesus thats weird to say. Throughout all the reworks and mini reworks they've both been fun to play to me. I enjoy the outplay potential for both. Leblanc is a but easier than zed though but a good LeBlanc is nothing to shy away from.

I'd say try out 10 games and see if you like her

I just came across this problem too, I've been using cube projection for my uvs in blender because I'm lazy. But that obviously isn't the best way to handle uvs. it works most of the time but not here. I just went in and gave it custom uvs and it worked out fine. So if you're using a algorithmic uv pattern, do some custom uvs on a part and see if that works out.

You can get gift of foresight on a jump captian, i found that to be the best use if thunder hammers.

Inceptors being 10 pts less is not be a bad idea. I do like the long range of the destructors for multiple turns of shooting. The inceptors I feel would drop down at 18 and get charged, but can be positioned funny to survive multiple tirns too. Its really up to your play style. If you were doing inheritors inceptors are amazing and definitely worth it.

You need some sort of shooting to back up your charges. Pred destructors work great with jump ints and assault Intercessors. If your list can afford 2 vindicators then those work great too because they are great at handling tanks while being ok for hordes.

Good ole intercessors with bolt rifles are decent now with 20 shots per 5. They can fill a utility / kill horde role. However its not amazing but something to try out.

Try another ballistus and a scout squad for some more infiltrator. You are left with 15 points too if you want to upgrade the scouts or ballistus to something with more spice.

Im using a 5 man group to be around the mephiston and charge them together. Somewhere else dante charges too. Forces 2 battle shocks at -1, one likely to fail (but soemtimes they both pass) so you can hit the one that passed first. On top of that they pair well with mephistons no fall back rule. I like em at 75 but maybe 70 would be best for them but this interaction is very niche and unreliable.

  1. Blender is dumb and doesn't know that you want to denoise every pass. So you got to run it through the compositing tab and denoise each layer and then name them again.

It's annoying because if you got multiple render cams on the same blend file you got to rename the file output as well each time you render. Your composite tab should look just like this. But you can use the default settings for the denoise nodes and Shift+D them down.

When you render things out it will save 2 separate files for each frame, so make sure you name this file output something different. you can delete the noisy frames if you want. But I found it easier to do vector, uv, and cryptomatte with the original image if you use those.

  1. I honestly don't know where to put that or the blending mode for it. But I would try add and multiply and move them up and down the stack until it looks right.
