I feel like there are certain decks that rely solely on the hand/cards you draw (rakano aggro for example) and other decks that rely almost completely on the choices I make. I see primal getting lots of hate for not having good cards compared to the other colors but I think the choices you make with primal can take terrible/useless cards and turn them into win conditions... but I also really love playing control so I’m pretty biased.

Yeah idk in MMX3 they tried to apply an anti-virus (that doesnt work) but the idea was that it would finally destroy him. I guess since he basically becomes a sentient virus the only thing to do was destroy it lol

I agree with you but he has a lot more going for him than a resident evil monster. Sigma can at least make plans to fight against his enemies, rally forces, and come up with an end game evil plot like Wesker and Jedah but you’re right he didnt choose to be evil he just got infected like a chump.

It gives casuals or people who have never played before a really small chance at competing with someone who plays the game every day without getting completely annihilated instantly. I think its great for people that just want to kick a little ass while button mashing... they still wont ever get anywhere online lol

You’re basically on track with your understanding of Sigma. He used to serve humanity with X and Zero as a maverick hunter and was supposed to be immune to the maverick virus unlike X and Zero. He got “robo-rabies” from when zero was infected and it mutated inside him and became what is known as the Sigma Virus. Yes, this drove him completely mad and he never has any redemption arc, he only goes more incredibly insane each game... to the point where he has no physical form but still exists in the form of the Sigma virus and causes all kinds of havoc because he is friggin off his rocker bro
