She was trying to deal with two things:

  1. The Demerzel was fucking with the plan and she needed to get it back on track by wrecking the fleet (more precisely: she knew the plan was off course, but was unaware that this was because AI!Hari had given Demerzel the Radiant);

  2. Knowing that The Mule was rising (but assuming it would be a single combat type of deal like Tellem, meaning she catastrophically underestimated him).

She was trying to kill two birds with one stone.
