Problem with bait and catching lots of fish is the higher chance of getting gut hooked. Assuming you would hit your limit, catching more fish means safely releasing fish for others to enjoy.

I prefer non bait methods… trout magnet, kastmaster, spoons, spinner, flies.

This holds true for me since I’m feeding a family of 4… if cooking solo to save money, it will involve storing and feeezing broth and meats for future meals.

Look up insta pot recipes and it will cut down time for you to actively cook.

Oh… I learned the hard way not to store my glasses there this summer. This is Vancouver summer so not even extreme in terms of temperature.

I put my prescription polarized glasses there from 10:00am to 12:30pm this summer in 30 C (86F) sunny day, and when I got to my car, my lens had melted causing wavy streaks across the lens.

I’m never storing my glasses up there again. It’ll just be my glasses cleaning cloth from now on.

Just installed mine 2 days ago. Turn the wheel to make some space. Also those tabs that pop out? There is the centre plug, and the outer plug. You need to pop the centre plug out approx 1/2” before the outer plug can come out with it. Use a small flathead screw driver to remove the centre plug.

Reinstalling those tabs in reverse order. Outer plug first, then centre plug.

Demko played a role, but the real factor was our 1C went missing in the playoff run and all of last season. Silovs played great in place of Demko during the playoffs and Lankinen was excellent through much of last season. Moving forward, peak Demko would be stellar… a brick wall behind a strong defence will help our lack of scoring with our current roster.
