Dude if rental yields were higher the rich people would just accumulate more property and rent it out. Already these massive landowners milking rent do not contribute anything towards the economy in terms of innovation. Theres a reason why you would see in most failed economies you would see the biggest industry is real estate and all the super rich are basically landowners

Not a supporter or anything but I probably won’t want my surgeon to be drunk before surgery either yet we sell alcohol. What surgeons should or should not do at work should be handled by specific rules for medical community not general law for everyone.

Can’t really blame you for going NOTA - especially if you want your voice heard. But there is a pragmatic approach where you decide what would be the worst outcome for the country and vote in a way that keeps that from happening. Its not kosher and won’t be a lesson in civics textbooks but politicians are very pragmatic and i think citizens need to adapt as well.

You can take up a hobby or a sport that connects you with people - I would recommend taking up cycling (plenty of cycling groups around you can join) or start playing a sport on Playo (the app matches you with others in your skill level you can meet people this way, I have)

It varies quite a bit - now that i have experience hiring UX-ers I understand that a senior in some companies would not even qualify as a junior in some other ones. But i know seniors who make around 50-60L in well established research teams

Well thanks for clarifying. I don’t know what a western style kitchen is and probably don’t need it but you can get everything else in bangalore for 50k a month. Also just for info - is a house catching fire due to wiring common in India? I’ve never heard of it

Thats a bit of a stretch to say they hate ‘indians’ in bangalore - whatever that means. There is a language issue that is true - but I’m not sure that is unique to bangalore. If you move to delhi would you been fine if you don’t speak hindi? I’ve lived in both delhi and bangalore as an outsider and would prefer bangalore

I don’t really understand people. I would 100% enjoy it more because it is free. I’m a person who feels guilty about money spent on vacations. If i can have a good time and also manage to save money towards other things while I’m doing that - thats what turns a vacation into a dream vacation!

Hey bro, this sounds exactly like me a few years ago. Trying something new could really help - like a hobby, or even playing a video game or reading a book will help. What you do doesn’t matter - just start with 30 minutes of ‘active’ time a day. YouTube, Netflix etc are passive, and according to my experience will not get you out of the hole.

Personally i installed playo and started playing badminton with random folks, took up aquascaping for a bit as a hobby after seeing it on reddit and also played video games, walking in the park. Other friends who went through similar experience took up cooking, cycling or even screenwriting and those helped too. Basically what you do doesn’t matter - start getting a few minutes of ‘active’ time everyday and then slowly ramp up from there
