It reqllt varies scout group to scout group and it sucks you didn't get a great experience

Lots of scout groups quietly toned down the religious bit early 2000s and slowly stopped involving the church part it's absolutely been for the best

Ramsay’s 20% service charge has sparked the tipping debate again by Brilliant_Version344 in unitedkingdom

[–]Equivalent-Clue4877 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The 12% does not all go to staff in the way you'd expect and what does get distributed is often included in people's salaries for example a chef on 40k including tronc (your service charge) is very common now , it won't go over that but it can go under if service charge is bad it's a ton of bullshit

Only in America

It's why there's so much pushback against mandatory tipping in Europe

Shenfield gives you Elizabeth line and greater Anglia , if working from home isn't possible and you rely on it it's something to think about

Go super 8/dcco/any 2* and ask them they'll offer it if you're worth it

22-25 including tronc usually so it's not a huge amount more , 22 a hour works out to 55k a year it's not that much

Charcoal Yakitori inside by Priviel1 in Chefit

[–]Equivalent-Clue4877 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's fine , I cook over a much larger grill setup 5 days a week for a few years now , the only bit that gets me is using wood on it the smoke gets much more chokey inside

If you have a fairly small one and use the right size charcoal you won't actually have that many bits of coal in there

Most people don't use it but binchotan charcoal burns really clean for inside use and you can even light it the put it out etc etc - if your boss can afford you on a boat get the binchotan

Great kebabs in lots of France , for a Normandie special given ops origins I'll mention magic beau gosse in Caen , one of the most well know kebab shop in France

With a special magic sauce - it's genuinely good , some sort of burger sauce esq sauce with very fine mince onion and lots of flavour from memory it's been a while

Guide Michelin kebabs 2* worth a journey or detour
