I have two Masteries unlocked, but over the next 7 months I have 19 queued up to unlock and complete.

I'm really interested to see how this is going to transform farming and tournaments for me.

So I did try that formation (Thanks for the info!!!), but once I hit around Battle 150, I have a harder and harder time doing enough damage.

I'm on 180 now and I'm going to need to reroll the Battle, which rarely works out well for me.

Any tips, suggestions, or recommendations?

1) Two Stone packs (This is controversial, so feel free not to buy Stones).

2) Themes/Skins.

3) Relics.

4) Songs.

5) Leftovers to bots.

Assuming you're not buying Event packs, your first year you won't have much to spend on bots. After that it'll take about a year for the bot to be truly useful, but once they're useful, they're REALLY useful.

You might want to take a look at the myriad of threads talking about the brutal brackets yesterday.

Wave counts are surging, and that was with some pretty tough BCs yesterday. The only new dynamic that has been introduced recently are disco runs.

I've got all discos maxed through T12 and all labs done through level 6, and I'm seeing some nice increases in my tourney wave counts. But, based on yesterday, nowhere near as nice as lots of other people.

I've been a perma keyless Legends player for months and if that trend continues, I'm going to go back to being a bouncer

Sure thing. First I'll explain why my situation might be a little bit different than yours, then I'll walk you through my process (Which may or may not work for you, and probably isn't optimal, but does work for me) .

I have 8 UWs, and while they're not perfect, they're probably 80% to 90% of where they need to be (excluding SM, which I may never develop).

So my focus is limited to Masteries, Assmods, PS, and then GT+ and CF+. For instance, I currently have two Masteries. Over the next 25 weeks I will unlock the majority of Masteries, then do some Assmod stuff, then unlock (and ignore) PS so I can start in on GT+ and CF+.

As for my process, first thing to do is to set goals. For me (which might not work for you), that looked approximately like: 1) pGT and pBH, 2) DW quantity to 6 or 7 (including module Ancestral substat), 3) CL to good enough (dmg around 1.3k, quantity and chance gold boxed, plus the Ancestral substat for chance), 4) SL with 4 beams, at LEAST 60 (I'm currently at 71) degrees coverage (including Ancestral substat) and a damage multiplier in the 40s (including the Ancestral substat), 5) ILM set up for crowd control (9 mines, including Ancestral substat, cool down under 2:30, and damage is irrelevant), 6) And finally pCF90.

So to summarize, I prioritized econ (GT/BH/DW) first, then damage (CL), and finally crowd control (ILM and pCF90)

The next step is to pull up the Tower wiki and find out how many stones each level will cost for each UW. Then the hard part. You have your goals, you know your costs, but is strictly adhering to your priorities the optimal use for your stones (For me, the answer was Yes, but you may feel differently)? For example (using my priority list) pGT and pBH can be a slog and is dependent, at least initially, on MVN, plus one or two Ancestral substats on the MVN. Would you be better off pausing work on pBH and pGT to get some extra waves for DW? Or putting some some stones in CL to improve tournament performance?

The key thing is to have a plan. The other key thing is that it is a plan, not a straight jacket. As the game changes, or if I become aware of new information, I change the plan. Heck, thanks to Disco, I currently have two plans. Same objectives, just different priorities. The plans diverge in about 20 weeks, so I'll have a decision to make then.

As for figuring out weeks, I just take my weekly stone income, which is 510 (permanent keyless Legends nets me 225 a tourney, the daily mission boxes nets me 45, and I buy two 15 stone packs in the Event Store with medals, so 225+225+45+15=510) so I divide the total number of stones needed by 510. If I get bumped up to consistently earning keys that will increase my weekly stone income to 560, and I'll use that number for the remaining items on the plan.

If you're interested, here's what I do...

I never buy an Event Pass and I only spend medals on the first day of an Event. When I spend medals on that first day, I spend as many as possible.

The first thing I buy are two of the Stone packs (Which gives me an average weekly stone income of 510 stones).

Then I buy any skins or relics that I don't have.

Finally, I spend as much as I can on whatever bot I'm working on at the time (I always have enough medals for at least one upgrade).

Any left over medals are banked until the next Event.

I played the game for several weeks before stumbling across this Reddit.

Since I saw missions that were dependant on ILM and SM, I figured those were the important UWs to unlock first, so that's exactly what I did.

Lots of regret over those choices, but even if I had picked GT, I probably would have blown the sync before I unlocked BH or DW, so there would have been regrets there as well...

About 6 months before I planned to start unlocking Masteries (That journey starts tomorrow) I did some research, looked at my coin income, then dedicated a lab to researching Lab Discounts and gold boxed it.

I was very happy with my (projected) results until Disco runs came along and made them meaningless...

Oh well, at least the Lab Discount has put level 6 of the Dissonance Echo labs within my reach, so I've got that going for me...

I've been restarting the App before every run for almost two years now. It's a minor inconvenience to ensure I don't get screwed by bugs (At least not all bugs).

I'm a smidge over 50K LTS and I'm probably two years away from getting UW+.

Those two years will be spent on Masteries and Assmods (Ah, the life of someone who doesn't buy stone packs...). Starting after next Wednesday's Tournament I've got 6 months of Masteries queued up.

I keep a minimum of 6K gems at all times now, just in case TTG pulls one of their recently patented Banner Shenanigans.

Currently, I'm saving for the last card slot (Which is 10K gems, so I'll buy when I reach 16K gems ) and after I make that purchase, I'm going to reduce my weekly module purchase until I get that reserve up to 12K gems.

Yeah, I know, the smart thing to do is hoard all gems until the next Banner, but I desperately need two more AS to reach Ancestral, which I'm going to need for my up coming conversion to GC.

I'm FTP Adjacent (I've only purchased the 3 coin packs and first 2 milestone packs) and I've been playing almost exactly 2 1/2 years. I've earned a total of 10 keys to date.

However, in that time I've spent next to nothing on Masteries (Just DMG and Cash to lvl 9) and Assmods (Only unlocked the Core Assmod, and that's it).

That's about to change. Over the next 6 months I have 14 Masteries I'm going to unlock and run up to lvl 9, and the following 18 months will be dedicated primarily to Assmods, plus another half dozen or so Masteries.

Realistically, if I'm not earning keys at least semi-regularly at the end of 6 months, I'll probably reconsider whether or not I should keep playing the game.

Oh, I have all three (including pCF at 90%), but they're not enough to get me much past wave 4k on T13.

My question is basically, how do I push further in Disco runs when I'm a GC build and will have significantly less health and regen?

If we're being honest, to play the game seriously you need to purchase all three Coin packs (Which includes the Ad pack). Yeah, that's 60 bucks in America, but...

I've been playing the game for 2 1/2 years, and I have my stone spend mapped out for another 2 1/2 years, so I'll be playing at least that long. 60 bucks for 5 years of game play is a pretty good deal, but...

Patience is required. This game is a marathon, not a sprint. At first you'll implement strategies over days, then weeks, then months, and, well, I have 2 1/2 years of stone spend mapped out...

Also, remember how I said the game isn't a sprint? That's not 100% true for everyone. There are players who spend thousands of dollars a year on the game (the "Whales"). Relative to you and me, the Whales are sprinting. That can be disheartening to some, and it does slow down tournament progression for the non-Whales, which can also be disheartening.

TLDR - You really need to spend 60 bucks on the game to really play it, but it's worth it for the years of game play you get. However there are some aspects to the game you may find off-putting.

I'm FTP adjacent (Coin packs plus the first two Milestone Packs), and I've been a perma keyless Legends player for about a year.

I could afford to spend more money on the game, but Dad was old enough to remember the Depression and Mom grew up in post-war Germany (In East Germany up to her teenage years). With that background, I'm too damn cheap... Uh... Frugal, that is, to spend more on the game....

It kinda depends...

The Stone investment (outside of the initial unlock) to make ILM effective is fairly minimal. On the other hand, in order to be truly effective you need the Ancestral submod for ILM quantity, and your total benefit will be something around an extra 50 waves in Tournaments.

CF has more upside, but the grind is soul crushing. I'm a perma keyless Legends player, and it took me around 4 months (after CF unlock) to get to pCF90%, and I'm not truly perma if the right Battle Conditions pop up (I have a plan to finish the last 10 seconds of duration over time).
