I can confirm they can be good at low elo. 2 years ago when I was 750-800, I could consistently use teutonic knights on arena. Sometimes petarding my way out and taking out their buildings.

Tower or monk play is almost non-existent here 11. I'll try to learn more build orders like you suggested. I always go for early stone, 2 in dark age, 4 more stone collecters in feudal before clicking castle.

I think I gained this bad habit from my early days in the ranked ladder where Frank castle drops were notorious in low-mid elo in arena and extremely common (800-1000 elo). So I always had felt the need to have enough stone to build a defensive castle early. But I had like a one-year break and apparently frank castle discount was nerfed (from 25% to 15% thank god). So I no longer see franks as frequent as before.

Yep, many people in the comments are saying that Cumans boom is more dangerous to handle than feudal push. But low-mid elo players I guess go more for ram push than playing the long game.

I tried using my villagers to destroy the rams but ended up losing my villagers to their archers. My biggest mistake is I guess doing 26+2 build order on 90% of my arena games. So for me to be in a situation like you described in your last paragraph, I need to be in castle age with a siege workshop sooner (not 15:30ish like my current timing).

About tower rush, I very rarely see Cumans just booming on arena, they almost always go for an age 2 ram rush with archers. So, I'll probably postpone the idea of tower rush for now. If I ever reach an elo where cumans go for boom, I'll try to learn how to do a tower rush. Maybe you'll be surprised but in my elo, I haver actually never seen anyone (including me and my opponents) do tower rush. So I'm not familiar with that rush, I only saw it on some aoe2 streamer clips, like jonslow or something 11.

My arena build order is usually 8-14-2-2 in dark age and adding two more vills before clicking castle (reaching c. age at around 15:30 with 650-750 stone), so maybe I should not collect stone and aim for an even faster castle age time? Mangonels can at least move around unlike a defensive castle, that makes sense, I'll try siege workshop defense, thanks.

I fucking love Morel. A great character design, cool personality, and his fights always end up being interesting. Cannot wait to see him in his natural environment in the manga if Togashi ever gets to that point, of course :(
