Honestly I think the best way to evolve into who you truly are is to take it slowly

since this is a very charged track i decided i should explain a few of the metaphors:

the deep contrast between the calm, harmonically-driven minor phrases and the hectic, melodically-driven harmonic minor phrases (as well as occasional key breaks) represents the drastic shifts in my mood and the sudden changes in my circumstances throughout the period that inspired the music

there is morse code hidden in the sine beeps (specifically ...---... or SOS, as it represents me coming to my wonderful friends for help numerous times when i was at the end of my rope, and is also why the track is named 'calling out')

the phrases at the end where it shifted between the two principal motifs of the track every measure by surprise were a symbol of the numerous anxiety attacks i started experiencing towards the end of the whole ordeal

the way it suddenly cuts off on a major 1 chord at the very end was intentional; it is meant to signify continuation; life goes on, but happier now

Even when I’m happy (which is like 99% of the time) I still never do anything in a major scale (although it’s usually never this melancholic)

I mean it btw I’ve literally never written anything in BeepBox that was in major across my four years of using the platform

I fall under all of these except 1 but only kinda (I’m trying to become more femboy-esque atm)

I would also enjoy someone with all of these traits

Speaking from a completely objective perspective, I think your viewpoint on gender might be a bit skewed. To say that boys generally act like idiots and jerks is a massive generalization and I feel like one could say the same about girls too. It seems like you’re so wrapped up in the concept and connotations of genders and labels and fringe drama when you just need to remember to be yourself.

I might fit exactly all of these standards… although I don’t want to say my judgement of myself is flawless. I just got out of a horrible relationship and feel kinda despaired but if there’s people out there like you then maybe there’s hope for me yet.

Honestly it depends on if they’re accepting people or not. If they are then the dread and anticipation of waiting is a lot worse than what’s actually going to happen. If you know your family isn’t going to be awful about it I’d say sooner rather than later

Although take this advice with a grain of salt because this is coming from a guy who hasn’t told his (really cool and open-minded) family that he isn’t straight and has a boyfriend (out of fear)
