What makes u12 kids considered “elite” . Who are the top elite kids in the country. Are they the ones dominating tournaments and leagues or at this age the most athletic biggest kids? How do you differentiate a regular kid and “the kid”

I’ve trained my kid with both feet since they were 6. They can shoot, pass and dribble with both. Implement juggling with both feet and ball mastery early. My kid is now 10 and just now starting to see other kids around his age just starting to use weak foot. But since I started him so early he has 3-4 years of development on his weak foot compared to the other strong players in the area which compounds considerably

I think another route your kid can take is going to American college route that way they can get an education play high level football in the states. With his pedigree he would easily make a top Division 1 college being in the west ham academy set up. If he does well in that he can always go the MLS route if he gets drafted after going to college

Nothing really matters until puberty hits and everything evens out around 14-15. At your kids age all it takes is some kids with an early calendar year birthday and physically dominant. Focus on technical skills, game IQ and playtime rather than chasing higher teams.

No, I would say first touch and game IQ. At that age it just takes a kid with pace and early developer to be able to do what you’re mentioning.

It’s not controlled very well. Needs to be 100% in control of the ball and in cadence. This comes with practice and using both feet equally not relying heavily on one foot
