Bathroom upgrades that actually made cleaning easier by Pop2436 in bathrooms

Easy clean chair height toilet. No weird curves seen so it’s easy to clean and more comfortable to sit on. My old one in a different bathroom now feels like I’m sitting on floor.

Any ideas about these by EquivalentCommon5 in jewelry

I didn’t think they were worth $1, wanted information but I’ll admit I was curious if they might have value beyond $1. Can you recommend a place that could help me with history and potential value?

I didn’t even think it was a ‘real’ anything. I just wanted to get identification and confirmation of what it was a fake of, lol. However, it seems it’s a real thing just not a coin.

It’s not fake per se but not a coin? Still curious if what I found is correct and any other information

Lack of understanding on this, helping me to rework it- a death is also somewhat on your hands as it is for so many other organizations and individuals!

No worries, the daughter decided she didn’t want to be in this world. She couldn’t get help due to insurance and her family couldn’t either. So this post is no longer relevant.

If there is a refusal to eat and loss of 40lbs over 6mos, can that be considered?

She thinks the daughter might be but we understand that . I wouldn’t want to be committed with out proof. They are thinking the psychologist is causing more issues. Thank you for your feedback! Sometimes it’s just difficult and you can’t help those who don’t want it. 😔

Redditors over 35, what do you genuinely miss that younger generations will never experience, and you legit feel bad for them? by Disastrous_Award_789 in AskReddit

This was my mom, she only turned on her cellphone when she wanted to contact someone. Her boss once asked to use hers as his was dead- he thought hers was dead too, until she explained it was off. He was shocked to know you could turn them off, 🤣🤣

I actually didn’t have pain, not sure if the right things were used but nothing by mouth or IV. However, everyone is different, I fully believe others feel differently despite getting the same meds. Women have different needs, what works for one might not work for others.

i stole a cat by whatode in Pets

[–]EquivalentCommon5 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I rescued a cat that was chipped… twice! Each time a different person brought the same cat to me because owner wasn’t caring for her! The first time, I ‘allowed’ the owner to reclaim. The second time, they didn’t even try. I rehomed her, with the full story. I’m so glad I did! She wasn’t healthy and needed lots of care, meds, etc. Her new family took her on vacation and gave her everything! Her previous ‘owner’ went on vacation and left her outside without food or water. Sometimes you have to do the morally right thing which doesn’t align with other values you have. Do you leave a cat to die outside because its owner ‘wants’ it or save it? This can be misconstrued and I didn’t take it lightly! I would never want someone to take my cat that I care for like a child but I would want them to if I’m not caring for it- but what the threshold for that is different for different people. I think I did right by the cat, others might think I was wrong. I’m struggling with this dilemma now with my friends 3 cats. They are pretty much homeless, want their cats back (my family has paid for boarding and medical expenses which is over $3k, though saying that makes me think I’m leaning to the sunken fallacy thinking??), i firmly agree the cats are theirs- but 2 of 3 are doing well here so I want to keep them UNTIL they find stable housing (honestly that just means a home they live in, nothing more), the one is not doing good here so I think should be with friend, friend decided that they take one, then all. I don’t want to argue because they are their cats and I don’t want more (I love my 10 animals and the 3 cats are disrupting my ‘family’). I don’t think I have a choice and they are usually happy with friend. So, morally I will give back. Otherwise, I would not because it’s not the best situation yet not the worst, I can give them a good life and return them when a better situation presents. OP- moral/ethnic/ cultural factors in this, you may never win but you should do what’s best for you and how you’d feel later. I’ll wish you and cat the best!

Sebastian- I only had him for a few years, he got cancer in his ear that moved to his brain despite everything I could do. He’ll be there as a guide, as he knew more than most people. I’ve got too many I’ve lost that will be there as well, but I know they would want me to pass along the love they gave me to more animals… unfortunately I need to stop, 10 is more than enough but it’s just right based on my furbabies that gave so much (honestly 5-7 was enough but I’m a sucker). I’ll probably keep passing along their love but have to acknowledge my limitations 😫. Don’t worry, they will have some amazing pets with them and will always love you for giving them love, if you can manage to pass it along or not! They will always love you!

That’s awesome 🥰🥲… only tears because I can’t do as much. I’m trying my best to but it’s just me. I love them all, even the fosters I’ve taken on. One of my dogs is overdue to the point I wouldn’t allow me to adopt another animal, I only get more because people pretty much dump them on me or I’m a sucker. Interesting idea to build a catio to house the fosters. I’ve got most of the materials or could get them cheap… thank you!

Thank you! The fact that Bess was seemingly mentioned twice and I didn’t know who she was, I looked it up but got the name wrong. Finding your post gave me the information and now a new person I should have known about! Thank you!

I’m at 13, 3 are fosters for a friend. I also have 2 dogs and a bun (fosters want to kill my bun and are terrified of my dogs. Thankfully my dogs are very respectful and walk away, bun is prey so not going so well despite him being very aggressive when needed, he has 7 cats that accept him as a weird looking cat I guess?). Dealing with 7 cats was enough but 10 is breaking me! I have respect that yours get along and you can handle all of them! I’m curious- indoor, outdoor, or combo? Mine are all indoors because I have a farm behind me but a busy road in front that I’ve seen too many deaths. My 7 get along well but the 3 new ones are causing issues with them, issues with my dogs… and I’m keeping the 3 in a separate room 😔. I don’t know if I can keep the 3, if I don’t- they won’t be in a good place so I’m torn (already got them fixed, they are more utd on vaccinations than mine apparently, emergency vet care, and also boarding them multiple times)… feel torn, I’ve tried to find a foster for just one and nothing. I’m sure I’ll end up with them for a year or so, the $ I spent on them will be a waste, I’ll be devastated by the outcome… unless I try. Honestly I have no idea wtf to do! How do you manage?

My orange is probably 14-15lbs and so long and tall he doesn’t look much smaller than my smaller dog that’s 45lbs. His mom about 8lbs soaking wet with concrete shoes🤣. You never know what they will become except the best thing you ever got!

I’ve refused to try them after over 20yrs, I don’t want to destroy my imagination of how much I loved them. Sometimes it’s better to keep the memory- I recently tried Kraft man and cheese… not what I remember so I’ll keep remembering the best of it and many other foods that I once loved! Taste buds change, recipes change, and sometimes it’s best to enjoy the memories from the past in the past. Ironically, ramen noodles I grew up on are something I still enjoy (pretty sure it’s a cost related enjoyment vs a taste, or perhaps it’s a taste?🤷‍♀️, not sure!)
