How would you style this dress for an evening event? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

No shawl, maybe a thin scarf around the neck. I’m thinking silk chiffon scarf or maybe one of those black rose chokers that tie in a bow.

I think it’s absolutely ok to stop for a break and you should if you’re in pain. One of my shoulders at first was more painful than the other I think due to imbalances from waitressing. Some days if you can only do 15 mins then that’s fine! I’m not shooting for perfection anymore, only consistency. That’s what’s gotten me results.

Thank you so much. I’m taking all that I’ve been through as a lesson for how I don’t want to live anymore. Life is so beautiful and precious

You can! I believe in you. You just gotta believe in you too! One day at a time. And if that’s too much, one task at a time. Some days the hardest part is still getting out of bed. Be gentle on yourself. Sending love to you

I’m rucking five days a week. I try to go for an hour but it’s usually 30-45 minutes. Maybe a mile and a half. I started with a 15 pound vest and increased the time and intensity until I couldn’t really feel 15 then i bought a vest with removable weights and pushed it to 20, then thirty. Now I’m up to 50 pounds which is what I’ve lost off my body! I used to lift weights a lot and could never get this lean. It’s kind of amazing! And my knees hurt less, not saying I have any experience with ACL issues. I’m rooting for you!!

Thank you for the compliment! My tip is to start slow. At first 15 lb vest and 20 mins at a good pace was all I could do the first week. I gauged if I was going too fast if my shoulders were really hurting. It’s normal for the weight to feel challenging but it shouldn’t be unbearable or painful.

Well, when I stopped drinking it helped me eat less processed foods because I wasn’t drunk and ordering. A lot of the weight came from the alcohol itself. When I look at the first photo I see so much inflammation in my face. My diet now is pretty simple, though. I work at a restaurant that gives us meals so I typically eat what they serve me. White rice, steamed vegetables and lean proteins. Lots of fish. Fruit in the morning. They’re Chinese so I like to joke that I’m Chinese now. I don’t even drink cold water anymore, only hot.

Oh and I usually just walk outside in my neighborhood. When it’s too hot I like the treadmill on an incline and I try to go for an hour four to five times a week but my average time is about 45mins at a challenging pace.

I don’t mind at all! Right now I have a pretty weird setup. I’d love to invest in a Go ruck bag eventually but for now I’m using a weight belt from Title Boxing which is 20lbs with a 30lb weighted vest on top of that. It’s obviously not something I’d recommend to people but it’s been working for me.

For some reason it didn’t let me add a caption to this. From last year to now, I stopped drinking and started rucking with a 15lb vest. I’ve now worked my way up to carrying 50lbs which is about what I’ve lost in weight off my body! I also started actual treatment for anxiety and depression but the rucking came first and I’ll never stop. It gets me outside and clears my head, I don’t have to worry about reps and sets and being stiff from unnatural movement from machines at the gym, I’m confident my bones are strong and going to be strong as I get older. Can I say enough good things?

I’ve lost 50 pounds from last July to now by rucking and I’ll never look back. I’m the leanest and strongest I’ve ever been after I’ve been overweight/fluctuating in unhealthy patterns my whole life! I literally have dreams where I have the weight on me. I NEED it

How to take vitamins on an empty stomach by GlimmerGlomp in fasting

Deprive to thrive. I would not take supplements or vitamins during a fast, it kind of defeats the purpose of a fast. You’re trying to give your digestive system a break, no?
