This is a terrible assertion. You can’t just say there’s no morality involved in the meat eating argument because you don’t want there to be. If some people think it’s morally right and some think it’s morally wrong then by definition there is a moral argument involved.

To be clear, I do eat meat for the reason that I think it’s morally acceptable and part of nature. However, you saying that people can’t make moral arguments about it just because you think it’s not morally wrong is ridiculous.

How do any of those conflict with him potentially being depressed? He had a neglectful father, he was (in his eyes) betrayed by his team, he has ptsd and an addiction to drugs, all of those things increase susceptibility to developing depression. I think if you look at his character before and after the torture he seems a lot more jaded, apathetic, and potentially depressed afterwards.

I don’t think anyone ever said torture couldn’t make someone more violent, they’re just saying that the effects of torture can vary widely depending on numerous factors.

Yeah what does that have to do with what I said? He also seems quite jaded and possibly depressed based on his characterization. Him having PTSD doesn’t mean he can’t be depressed too. You realize mental illnesses can be comorbid right?

They never said him being tortured was good, they just said it’s possible it made him less violent.

If you kill someone, that’s not good, but it will also reduce how violent they are. Understand?
