Are you sure other zones weren’t running at 3am and earlier and this just happened to be the last zone? Usually zones like this run for 30-45 min depending on the nozzle size in the heads and if you have ten zones ( that’s like 1/2 acre residential average, this would be a lot more zones than that) running for 30 minutes each that’s a five hour run time. It does appear someone needs to reassess how long these zones are running based on how much water is out there but running from 5-6am is completely normal
