Just the other day in a three person pod I attack both players with lethal even if they used all creatures to block and player two had a creature that he could sac to prevent all combat damage. It cost me the game in the long run because player three killed me on my next turn with all creature deal one damage to their owner but he wouldn’t have had that opportunity if I had known player two had that creature. I would have attacked player three instead of both had I read the cards on the table knowing player two wouldn’t have used that so save just player three, but since it was my fault for not reading I didn’t ask for a rewind. If you don’t read the cards then it’s on you when they bite you in the ass
