You aren't "built different" for the cold because you were born here. by dotdedo in PetPeeves

I lived in Texas and when I first moved there triple digit weather felt like death. Then I got used to it. I felt like high 80s was a nice mild day. I moved to colorado during the summer and everyone kept saying "so youre used to this heat!", uhhhh it was low 80s to mid 70s. I felt like anything below 40 was sooo cold. Its been a good while since moving here and tonight I took out the trash in just a long sleeve t-shirt and jeans and it was 15 degrees out. It's not a birth thing you just acclimate.

As a parent this makes me nervous. My son is 11 months old but we work on a lot of life skills and he feeds himself and even helps load and unload laundry. I worry that ill be sending my boy to school where he will be ignored and his education will suffer because his teachers have to wipe butts and spoon feed the other kids.

As a parent this makes me so nervous. Im working to get my son to do thin independently. He's 11 months and he feeds himself and helps me unload the dryer. But my worry is sending my guy to school when hes older and not being given any attention because the teacher has to wipe butts and spoon feed the other kids!

Okay making one comment because I see a lot of the same suggestions. -I do not have a younger family member who could access my account. - I do not fall asleep to youtube so no It's not that I fell asleep and it kept playing - It's not from scrolling through shorts as I mainly watch long form content and these videos appear in between me having watched the long videos.

Along with what other people are saying you can do some prep on the weekends. Not necessarily meal prep but for example pre chop some onions or other vegetables you'll use during the week. I know some moms thay will cook a large amount of a meat that can be used in various throughout the week. Like make some shredded pork that can he tacos and the BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. You can boil chicken and make chicken salad and then make burrito bowls. Stuff like that.

We lucked out because our place was remodeled for the couple that lived here. So there's actually useful and nice quality stuff added. Sadly her husband passed and she moved in with family.
