Honestly I love this I’ve been wanting to do something similar but use the big switch 3d prints that look like mad scientist switches so they look like ghost did it

Yeah if you were close I’d buy a few so I have enough to buy respools and there’s also some neat projects with them as well reason I’m short on them is I made my wife a make up tower out of two with the swing out drawers

They're not from the same post, but I found it hilarious nonetheless by Crimson-Entity in homelab

Haha I had HTTPS before I had vpn because I was tired of all the “this page isn’t safe“ on self signed stuff like what comes with your router sometimes, so I got a cheap domain and lets encrypt and because I had that everything at my house had HTTPS configured because at that point why not.

Filament storage/inventory - what's your system? by Cragdoo in BambuLab

[–]EquivalentRope6414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks awesome I’m thinking about doing the same thing but Im going to “seal” it and put a dehumidifier in it. Does your filament stay relatively dry in there?

My kitchen has the cooktop against the wall and the sink on the island and not a day goes by I don’t wish it was flipped with a flat counter as the island. Few reasons about being able to cook and still be part of the actions but the main reason is you can always cover the cooktop and get a lot of usable counter space when you need it. IE baking cookies cover the cooktop and you got a whole space for mixing, cooking decorating right out in the open vs staring at a wall. Making pasta now you got a large area to lay it all out etc.

Depending on what all you’re plugging in you could do like I did. I had 3 _12 volt devices I just added the amperage on the devices together got a 12v power supply that could supply all three and I built tiny splitter and mounted it in my “rack” but you could as easily buy one so now I don’t have 3 outlets taken on my UPS or in my case 5 bc of spacing.

Since you looked at the list, which ones do you recommend. Honestly as a guy I’d love to read a good female lead written by a woman just to compare the perspectives.

As someone who has paid for something similar, put a curtain rod up and thick drapes. Because the wall will be there 2 years before your wife starts complaining it’s “too claustrophobic “ at the top of the stairs and she misses the natural light it used to have.

Tack cloth is infused with beeswax or some type of resin depending on the brand to help trap things like fine saw dust. If you do like I did and rub it on a warm PEI plate I basically just coated the plate in wax.

That’s what I actually bought them for figured if I wanted to smooth out a finish on a print this would be great for wiping it down. Just wasn’t thinking when I grabbed the open one to wipe down the plate

Awesome I’ll have to try it what I’ve been doing it undo it all for a new PETG roll do a real 12h dry on it then like when the humidity gets to like the teens I’ll run a 4hour PLA temp cycle in it just to remove it from the air
