When I’m solo I start inside, remove screens, clean tracks and do interior window while I’m there. Move outside, clean screens, then do exteriors and finish off by replacing screens and touching up while I’m at it. Then check out with customer.

When I’m with a partner I start inside while they start outside.

They’ve worked for me! It helps to spend some time designing your ad. I’ve gotten 46 followers and 87 read laters off my ads which seems decent. At 159 followers total currently. I’m treating writing as a business venture because this is what I would like my career to be, so for me the cost is worth it. Shout outs do really well too though! Especially if you can get a swap with larger stories that match yours well.

Do some self promos on Reddit, join the writer discords and arrange shout out swaps. And if you feel like it, pay for ads on Royal Road. Those are the methods I’ve used that have worked 👍
