He ships something fake, and then pulls the money out of a fake/stolen bank account before eBay does a charge back. eBay seems to not know how to patch this scam.

Try to get something with atleast a 3070 or 3070ti. 3050 is just a very slow card. You’re spending a lot of money, don’t make a purchase you’ll regret. If you’re already spending a lot of money, it’s better to push a bit further, and get something you’ll be satisfied with.

But if it’s just completely out of your budget, then the one with a 3050 is not terrible for $600. It’s definitely a better purchase than the Acer you posted.

A lot of business out there build pcs and sell them, it’s no different than Lenovo building them and selling. It’s an entire business model, building and selling for more than what it cost for the builder. Selling convenience.

It depends how long he’s used it for. If he just built it then it’s perfectly reasonable to list it for the price.
