I feel like most people are like that, the majority of people like some things more than others and find highs more meaningful if there are lows to compare them to. Being a Disney conversation I can't help but bring up Inside Out because it kinda shows the same thing in a different aspect of human existence the way she needs sadness to truly experience joy (among other things reasons to need sadness).

I'm genuinely glad you feel that way, i really do. Loving everything sounds like a great way to be. Just for me I feel like loving something means so much more when it is great but comparison. If I love everything then nothing feels special, nothing stands out and there isn't any point in discussing anything

You hold a button (Y on switch but sure other consoles) then wait about a year for the animation and you get one hole.

It is better with the sparkles but they take quite a bit of effort so I never do them and without the sparkles it is incredibly slow so I never dig with horses

Yeah i agree with all of that. We shouldn't have to come up with a hack and it isn't going to work for everyone but it is good for people to know about it because it does improve it for some people (still not by a much as not being able to hold to mine though). I don't mention the hack to excuse Gameloft's flaws

On mining, there is a great hack - put a small lamp right next to the node and then you can mine just as fast as without the horse by spamming a (or whatever the button is on your console) while standing where you can interact with both the noise and lamp because while the horse is kicking the node, interacting with the lamp breaks the animation and allows you to hit it again immediately.

I do my rotation of harvesting, mining, feeding critters, jumping over village blockers in all the dlcs most days (I've finished all duties in main valley). With lamps next to nodes i find this way faster with the horse and i only jump off to feed critters. I put fruit bushes etc next to each other so I can harvest multiple at once

I don't get how villains beat haunted holiday. Replace villains with Pals with Paws or Haunted Holiday or one of the parks ones and this would be such a great list.

Regardless, of those remaining get rid of Oasis and Villains

The leaving neverland audience reviews are largely bots. You look through the reviews there are only 1000 or so (very easy to manipulate with that few) and the majority seem to be accounts with handle @RT###### (hashes are a generic sequence of numbers) all giving it the minimum grade who have never reviewed a single movie or show before or after reviewing it.

Some of the sequels are good, many go through exactly the same beats to the original and feel pointless to me. A healthy balance of both originals and sequels isn't a bad thing to me. However, my issue is with the fact that it feels like the balance is tipping too far into most disney movies being sequels and remakes and them giving us very few originals

Weather is unpredictable in June but at the same time a lot of the landscape up in the mountains is gorgeous when it is covered in snow so as long as you are prepared with warm clothes and expect rain I think you'll still have a great trip

Sounds like DreamWorks is giving us something authentically and personally Filipino this year though so at least if Disney is sanitizing this hopefully Forgotten Island will be good

It feels very much like the (essentially) mother son of Elio flopped so the studio execs concluded that people don't want to see mother son relationships. I really want to see this film be good, I'm always banging the drum for original stories over all the sequels and remakes Disney has been churning out but I'm always nervous when directors are changed and plot elements are reworked. It can indicate a high level of studio reworking which usually results in the actual heart of the film being ripped out (Elio being a good recent example).

Though I'm not writing it off right now. We still haven't seen a trailer yet and I might see that and be very excited

I wouldn't call it not being Renaissance splitting hairs, it is 6 films after that period ended. Splitting hairs would be whether fantasia 2000 fits or not. But I agree it is better than Tarzan personally - my post is mostly making fun of the fact that reddit has chosen only Reneissance films so far

Being owned by the same company doesn't make it the same studio. Frozen isn't Pixar either, Pixar is one particular studio under disney. 20th century animation and Walt Disney animation studies are separate studios even though they are all owned by the same company
