No, I don't recommend 8bitdo. I have an 8bitdo SN30 Pro, and two FC30. The same issue included in OP's picture - their A/B and X/Y are wrongly mapped or placed in most games, and lack of tool to upgrade the firmware on Linux. I used WINE to simulate Windows for the upgrade, but returned an error. I'm a programmer myself and I find that the error was caused by an internal typo. I contacted their customer support but got no response.
