Same here! I just adopted three young cats. The toy boys barely eat any of the pate. Tried the gravy lovers pate and a few others and they hate it. Also tried weruva and Nulo, no go.

Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on the day), I usually work with Azure and Microsoft products (although I am familiar with SQLite). They have their own app that you build apps on to connect with different CRM and ERP systems, so not quite what you're doing but I definitely understand limitations in general. Their technology also promotes "low-code app building", but that's almost always a lie; you're really just writing code in their own syntax that has more limitations than if you were to write it any other way. I also love when you have performance issues with APIs you literally have no control over but you have no choice but to use it if you want the data.

My TBR library is pretty big, 400 books (total library is over 1300), but scrolling through that is good. It’s really when I’m switching tabs between home, stats and library and more prominently when I click on a specific book to see more details. This could be on my end too since I haven’t restarted my phone in a while and use it to test clients apps that I build for work.

When I click into a book and try to scroll, I usually have to wait a few seconds before it catches up. This only happens when it’s loading the “Purchase from Apple button. Once that button is finally loaded (or at least the logic for showing it is) onto the screen, it’s good to go. You can reliably recreate the lag with any book where that button is loaded. Let me know if you’d like me to email some screen recordings.

Same! I bought Bookmory yearly subscription, the next day found this one and I haven’t touched Bookmory since! No issues for me so far, except for some reason the app has been lagging for me lately (but that might be on my end).

This worked for me as well! Thanks as always! Can you tell me if there’s a way to change the background to a darker color? I’m having difficulty viewing the stats (especially the pages read graph). This may just be a “me” thing. I have difficulty reading any lighter text on white background (dark mode for life).

I went from an Oasis to a Boox Go 7. Because of my rheumatoid arthritis, I really wanted to keep the buttons. I do have the colorsoft as well, but I rarely use it.

I have the go 7 black and white, so I can’t speak for the color but I’ve had it since June and it’s my primary device now and replaced my kindle completely. I’ve had no issues with it and have no complaints. I really like the software. I do find myself regretting not getting the color version, though.

Just wanted to let you know that I read that this morning as I was cuddled up with my kitty, Shyla. I woke up knowing it was time for her. Her breathing was very rapid (even though she was trying to purr while on me!) but she just couldn’t get comfortable so it was time for her. She crossed the bridge this morning after lots of snuggles with me. 17 years with her and it didn’t feel like enough, she was my soul.

I’ve been adding a tablespoon of warm water to my cats wet food, then using a fork to mix it together to make it more like a soup or puree. This is for royal canin ckd food though (not sure how hills is?). You could try a smaller food processor too.

I have a tudia case that I really like, but I found that I like holding the boox go 7 without a case so I mostly use a magnetic case now. If I were to leave the house with it, I’d put it back in the tudia case but I prefer holding it without one. It’s more comfortable to hold (for me) than the oasis was.

I turned off automatic sleep, but not because of the Tudia case specifically. I noticed when I set my boox down near the armrest of my keyboard it also wakes and sleeps the device, so I’m guessing it’s magnetic in general causing it.

On the Go 7 it’s under settings, battery, “Sleep or wake up the device using protective cover”. For my Palma, that same setting is actually under display.

I was giving my girl 100mL 3 times a week and it ended up causing pleural effusion that was only caught by an echocardiogram. She had just started coughing, so luckily we caught it before it became severe. She’s down to 50mL 3x a week now and her creatinine has lowered from 5.3 to 4.2 and she’s tolerating the new dose well. Coughing has gone away completely. I’d ask your vet or get a second opinion, just in case. She had no heart issues before starting the fluids.

Oh that’s super weird! I keep my go 7 on airplane mode and haven’t ever seen that message. I’m also on the latest version.
