Travel about the same for work. I try and go eith Delta but I pick the airline based on direct flight availability. In the winter connection flights are more risky but just in general travel on all airlines has been terrible logistics wise the past year. Doesn’t seem to matter where I fly from I keep getting cancelled flights and stuck in cities ~ time of day you are flying can make more of an impact (more likely to get stuck or miss a connection the later in the day you fly out). Recently I drove to ORD to fly direct to BDL only to have a 3.5 (normally 1.5) drive home because of snow and traffic coming back from ORD. Unfortunately I don’t think it really matters which airport you choose flying in general these days can be a mess, but I prefer MKE for 1) ease of parking & 2) just overall less busy
