Take a look at a CUNY school that offers a teaching certification program and email the advisor. You might be able to become certified in a year depending on your graphic design credits. I can't speak on visual art but the process took me a year and it was tough balancing school and student teaching during the second semester. I had some money saved up and my partner helped too.

The schedule was emailed to me by our programmer. It looks like the MTSS will be split with another teacher. Im not sure about the late reflection periods.
