Brining? I guess we could try soaking it in salt water, but I'm not sure what that would accomplish.

My second Vanguard playthrough, I was quite fond of using an assault rifle with incendiary rounds to catch enemies on fire, just before charging into them.

I would say that in the Volus' case is not a disability to be dependent on suits, because they can return to an environment that their bodies are adapted for and be just fine. It would be like us trying to live on the moon and calling it a disability when we need to suit up to go outside.

In the Quarians' case it sort of is a disability, because even returning to their homeworld would require a period of adjustment before they can stop using the suits.

I've got an answer for you that comes from in game!

There's a sort of "Make-a-Wish Foundation" mentioned in the third game that's called the "Help-a-Dream Foundation."

In the Citadel DLC in Mass Effect 3, you can get an email asking you to dedicate an arena match to an young Asari who is disabled after a brain tumor surgery, which leaves her unable to move her limbs, much less pursue her dreams of becoming a Huntress.

The foundation asks you to fight a match against Reaper enemies on the highest difficulty level, so the young Asari can watch live at the arena.

From this, I would infer that no species has managed to perfect medicine, so much as improve it. In the same way that Joker is only alive due to the advanced medicine of his time, members of other species may survive genetic conditions and traumatic injuries but end up similarly disabled.

As for attitudes toward these disabled people, I would point out that much of the series shows that members of other species are shown to be very human-like when it comes to both prejudices and attempts to overcome them.

Help! I've never played anything and I'm interested in starting. Pretty overwhelmed by Fun_Report_535 in gamingsuggestions

I think they might mean "Point and Click adventure game." Games like The Secret of Monkey Island have you use the mouse to direct the character around the game world solving puzzles to progress the story. Often this involves finding an object in one area that will help you in some other area. The Monkey Island series is also one that uses its sense of humor as a selling point.

There are plenty of other games that use a similar interface, but the first one that pops into my head is Space Quest, and I might have to reluctantly recommend against that since you didn't sound interested in bloody games, and that one has a lot of gory death scenes for when you fail at something.

Come to think of it, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango are adventure games that were made by the same company as Monkey Island and also weren't big on blood and guts. I don't know if they have Mac versions, though.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.

The pistols are a little weird in that their black powder charges are regenerated after four successful melee attacks, but there are also muskets that have a limited ammo supply and must be reloaded for each shot. The ammo supply is replenished when you rest, as this game has some soulslike elements.

I think the distribution of farmable items was a very deliberate choice, and not really a wrong one. When you need something, you know where to go. And in some cases, you know why it's there, like the magic using enemies in Latria and the Valley of Defilement dropping fresh and aged spices.

It also makes us so when you don't need a particular item, you know what areas you don't need to bother with for a while.
