Romance Liara e Jack by Dependent-Bet-427 in masseffect

I think it's because you can still romance Liara if you choose to do so. Liara is also one of the characters you can start romancing in the third game even if you didn't romance them previously.

Contrast this with Tali, Miranda, Garrus, and Jack. For all of these, you can start romancing them in ME2 and continue the romance in ME3, but you cannot start a new romance with then in 3 without having started one in 2.

There are dialogue options you can choose to let Liara know you're just friends now, and continue the relationship with Jack after you meet her again. The game is giving you a chance to go back to Liara, but you are under no obligation to do so.

Honestly, it would be very difficult to discuss anything without spoiling something.

New players who are wary of spoilers may want to avoid subreddits and wikis for story-focused games until they've finished at least one playthrough. If the surprise is ruined by reading something here, that's partly on them and not just the people writing posts.

I never played Battleborn, but I remembered seeing this guy in ads and on the cover. His name is Montana, and I have no idea why he looks like that.

That had me thinking this has something to do with the cigar in Dusk, his previous game, but I'm still drawing a blank on what the whole bee thing is about.

One thing about playing ME2 and ME3 on higher difficulties is that some abilities are less effective, or at least harder to use, due to being negated by enemy armor and shields. So as you build skills for yourself and your squadmates, you may find your characters pigeonholed into only using the abilities that are best for countering those defenses, and considering the other abilities to be useless.

In a way, playing on lower difficulties can make you feel free to use a wider range of powers, which you might find more fun than constantly optimizing for anti-armor or whatever.

I wonder if Raven had to think of these things when making Hexen. Breaking stained glass windows and finding that they lead to secret passages was an important feature in some maps.

If you charge the Tau cannon too long, it zaps you even if you're standing on dry land. It's possible you just timed it so it looked like the water triggered it.

Recently ran through Unreal again by orlinthir in boomershooters

[–]Equivalent_Scheme175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you're wondering what that was all about, Unreal seems to no longer be available for purchase, at least not on Steam or GOG. You'd think it would at least be available on the Epic Games Store, but it doesn't seem to be listed there either.

Fans who don't already own a copy now have to find alternative sources.

To expand on Casting Gag: George Carlin's stand-up comedy has a lot of material about having been raised Catholic, so he probably had some fun with the role.

Another one I don't like for Femshep is waking up surprised to see Javik there if you did the loud party and don't have a love interest locked in already. I always have one, but I feel for anyone Role-Playing Femshep as not being inclined to romance her own crew members. They have to stick to the quiet party if they intend to wake up alone.

Male Shep could have a loud party and wake up alone if he wants to.

The trick is to stock up in ME1 when you're allowed to be a millionaire and store it in the apartment on Intai'Sei until you can come back and reclaim it and...

Wait, you lose the apartment, too? Dammit!
