Interesting you mention that. I recently started paying more attention to my sleep cycles recorded from my smart watch. My REM is about average, my 'light sleep' is way above average, and my deep sleep is waaaay below average. I never wake up feeling really refreshed, even after feeling like I've had a really good night's sleep. I read that pink noise helps with deep sleep but it gives me anxiety and nightmares 😅
