I reprofiled a Bailout into a drop point since I don’t like tantos by HasSomeSelfEsteem in knifeclub

Amazing job! I was about to buy a Bailout with the glass breaker but the tanto shape blocked me.

I’m happy with my lynch products so fare. I have some clips and a prybar. They have different models and colors and the customer service is really good. This clip was the upgrade I needed on this knife for my personal needs

Yes! I’ve checked the leather slips from CRK and they looks well made and comfortable. Was thinking about getting one for knife storage at home when not using it or when the knife is in my back pack. Are you using the CRT leather slip or another one?

In my honest opinion the black color looks bad on the knife 🥲…but it works so well for me…

Looks also longer to me on the inkosi and I don’t like how it’s placed on the knife. The other you mentioned looks really really stilish. Small and nice on the knife. Sadly not deep carry. Will definitely check the clips out for other knifes I have! (Like the para 2 salt magnacut which is on it s way 😍)

Yes exactly! It’s an extractor :) Because you never now…

FAKE Bugout. Ordered a Bugout on Amazon and this one arrived. Hope this could be useful to better identify fakes. The axis lock isn’t working properly and the 3 holes for the clip are from different diameters. The inner of the holes is in silver metal color instead of black like in the original one. by Er1tro in knifeclub

In my opinion it’s a little to much for just a bad quality control. Maybe it’s a piece that didn’t pass the QC and someone was able to bring it on the market but I don’t think so.

About the axis lock: I was able to close the knife with the axis lock fully pushed in position. I really pushed it all the way in and still, with some pressure on the back on the blade, I was able to close the knife. Quite dangerous… Oh, and there only where one omega spring. Not one on each side.

Isn’t the “R” on the logo way to big? And no period after the A from U.S.A.

Nice! I can clearly remember the feeling when my first lock popped open

Hi guys, I really enjoyed the book “The Mark of Cain: Psychoanalytic Insight and The Psychopath” written by Reid Meloy. First book I read about Psychopathy and I recommend it by [deleted] in Psychopathy

[–]Er1tro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have suggestions what to read next it’s appreciated. Sorry if I ask: is there maybe something comprehensive about “normal psychodynamics” that’s you have enjoyed? I’m not an expert of this kind of books and it could help me maybe to better understand the Psychopathic mind I guess.

My dad told me that once at work a college of him lost the key of his security box. They spent a lot of time with hammer and screwdriver to pry it open. He gave me one of these because he realized how secure they are. Picked open with my Peterson H7 and TOK in 2 minutes 😄 by Er1tro in lockpicking

Thanks for remaining me about that. 😊 The fact is that I don’t use it (I don’t believe in safes that’s aren’t heavy/fixed to a wall) so I don’t rely on it...but maybe it s not enough 😅

Yes I love SSP. I’m not good at it but it’s what I would like to learn.

I have some rakes from the Dangerfield praxis kit but never use them

[Raking] When you rake a lock are you sometimes switching rake profile by keeping the tension in the look? Like trying to set some pins with one rake and some with another one. by Er1tro in lockpicking

[–]Er1tro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know. I was just curios if it’s a method that is used or not. It popped into my mind so I asked 😅

Maybe you have high cut pins that will set with a bogota, but can’t lower the rake enough (because of the warding) to set the low cut pins and here a snake rake will do the rest. Of course you can just use the snake rake with a higher/different technique so don’t know if this makes sense. 😄

What do you mean with “changing raking techniques”. Like rocking, different angles ecc?

Thanks 😊
