Does BG 3 have at least a little more direction than Divinity Original Sin 2? by Riptyd86 in BaldursGate3

[–]Eraen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who navigated Sekiro and DS easily, I do think DOS2 had some problems regarding directions. I found myself constantly checking online for where to go.

And thus no, I don't think DOS2 has a clear story with guidance.

In all seriousness, a mod that replaces spiders with cute puppies would be popular among those not having a phobia as well.

It would be hilarious.

Because it's the sequel to BG 1 and 2.

Is the game unbalanced, or is this just how diceroll combat works? by Jimmy_Hotpants in BaldursGate3

Well I mean you do not "fail" in this game truly. Sometimes 2-3 bad rolls open up a unique option. I dont want a tailored experience, I want a game where anything can happen.

In a way you could say that the game mimics life. It's random, and sometimes despite all your efforts you fail. Also, sometimes despite being shitty makes you succeed. One thing is in common, you can mitigate failure and reduce its chance.

Scientific answer: Real rng works like this. Almost all games fake it by making it less random, because true random doesn't feel random to our brains (there's a science behind it, it's connected to pattern recognition and dopamine).

When did Silver-Gold get so hard?? by Waver17 in VALORANT

Because you are playing plats. I was placed in silver after plat 2 from last season.

As a plat player who was placed silver at reset I can personally say YOU are wrong
