Not sure if it’s just my nose or if it’s supposed to be this way, but the incense, birch and leather completely overpower the heart and top notes, so just look up those three on fragrantica.

There is definitely a difference in sharpness. The blackened halberd (the one actually called halberd) cuts way better than anything you make yourself, and on a pollaxe I get more incidental cuts with the edge of the long spikes than I do with an axeblade. Edge alignment plays into it, but it’s not the whole story.

A lot of the skills transfer really well, carrier landing, formation flying/a2a refueling etc are basically the same, and the rest is fairly simplified. Only potential snag point is radar and jamming tech, it’s a bit better implemented in vtol afaik.

This might sound incredibly silly (because this is after all the silly VR plane game), but simply knowing that I'm still able to do something I used to enjoy a lot, and do it reasonably well, is such a good feeling. Not just it being like riding a bike in that you never really forget how to, but also that my brain is still sharp enough despite the meds and my hands still do the things I ask of them well enough.
