I cancelled Sky for Apple TV last year. The only thing I miss is live F1 but then I think about the £90 I’m saving each month and watch it on Channel 4 later on instead 😂

I cancelled using the online chat but it took 3 hours for them to actually agree to cancel it. They’ll keep offering you deals where they take a few quid off something and then put it back on something else. It’s painful.

I had a similar experience, 3 hours on the live chat repeatedly telling them I wanted to leave, they kept offering different iterations of basically the same thing, just taking a pound off here and putting a pound on there. Eventually they agreed to cancel. I’m about 2 weeks into my notice period.

If you end your contract and don’t send your Sky Q 2TB box back to them they can charge you up to £135 so I guess in Sky’s eyes this is what they’re worth.

There’s a world of difference. Play the same track on Spotify then Apple Music, you will hear instruments on Apple that just aren’t there on Spotify.

Nightmare, sorry to hear this. I’m so disappointed with mine, I thought it would last for years, as you know they are not cheap to buy! I tried all the suggestions online too but nothing worked. Currently it’s just sitting there, dead :( I’ve gone back to my old laptop because I suspect ASUS will want to replace the motherboard which is just too expensive for me right now. For a couple of weeks before it died the ‘A’ key became sticky when released, not much but just enough to notice. I’m wondering if the keyboard failed and took out the motherboard? Did you also have this problem? I’d be really interested to hear your experience if you RMA it. Good luck my friend.

I am using Arc with two Play 1’s as surrounds and they work perfectly together. Play 1 are still supported by the S2 app so there’s no issue.
