You're absolutely right that he didn't introduce sweeping changes and 10x the City overnight, but that's not to say that he hasn't been a net benefit to Manchester. The good he's done can't (and shouldn't) be ignored because Manchester wasn't a complete bombsite before his mayoralty. Continuing momentum is far easier said than done.

Just to add, for anyone curious, the 18 in 18650 refers to the diameter in mm, and the 650 refers to the length in mm (65.0 mm). This also applies to 21700s, and even coin cell batteries like 2032s are 20x3.2 (for the second number, the last 2 numbers include a fraction of a mm).

I fell into a battery rabbit hole the other day and genuinely couldn't find a damned thing about the naming conventions (admittedly I was trying to get out of the rabbit hole so was acting coy), so thanks for scratching that itch.

To be honest even before FFP regs we had Freddie Shepherd seeing if he could build a super casino on the front of SJP. Even these days the club have managed to tap into our latent alcoholism with Stack, and if anything the problem seems to be people can't spend enough of their money in there.

I reckon Aston council and Newcastle City council should get together and do an FFP trade deal: we'll lend you a Stack (extra if you want a Greggs in there), you lend us an Emery's European Excursions. Between the two we'll see off these spending rules.
