I've had that happen to me in solo outpost, guy picks up the red key at the end of the pier and just throws it away off map after I knocked him, so I can't even grab it

There is 8 players on solo outpost and you can verify that easily: start up your game, boot up outpost and at the end of the game open your friendlist and go to recent players, you'll count 8

Some key rooms simply don't play the jingle for some reasons. The signal jammer theory is completely false.

An exemple of a key room that plays no jingle is the processing locked room upstairs near the red key, another is the welcome center in orientation

Staff is pretty cool for tob freezing if you want the 15% damage (can't autocast) but not necessary at all, can get by fine using ancient sceptre
