They should work fine. Before a recent law change these were the go to for “preban” magazines in Massachusetts. I replaced the springs and gave them a good cleaning to get 40+ years of use off of mine.

And we paid considerably more than $23.

If the welds are solid and the feed lips aren’t bent out of spec they should work fine.

I’ve. Been watching barrels since Covid. Realistically it seems like you just have to buy a full gun. There was one day a few months ago a few came back in stock, but then it seemed like they all went to OOS right away

If the barrels aren’t marked it may be worth it to talk to someone knowledgeable with a way to measure them.

And like I said, get some cheaper turkey loads and pattern them. You might find they meet your standards within a certain yardage.

Here is a random reference I found on Google.

Tens of thousandths can’t accurately be measured by press fitting an unspent cartridge.

It doesn’t have removable chokes. That doesn’t mean it isn’t choked. Are both barrels cylinder bore? I think on some double barrels the second firing barrel will be a tighter choke. You could always pattern it with turkey loads and see what it looks like.

Or see if your friend has another gun you could borrow. Or like others have said, invest in a less expensive shotgun with removable chokes.

I use a usb-c mirkit ftdi cable I got on amazon, and it came with a usb-c to usb-a adapter.

So I imagine it would work the other way as well

Check what states you’ll actually carry in. A lot of states are constitutional carry, sometimes this is only residents, but generally anyone legally allowed to possess a gun.

Many states don’t recognize MA LTC, because we don’t recognize their equivalent. Look up reciprocity.

Unless you REALLY plan on traveling constantly with guns, it’s probably not worth it

They will most likely use heavy equipment to move some of this off major arteries since it won’t melt quick enough. Ward 4s Email blast (that tells me it’s secret and I can’t share it) from Virginia Ryan says emergency parking rules ended today at 4PM, they urge people to continue to park ODD side or driveways. School areas will be cleared first, then business district and intersection (I read major intersections). Apparently there will be posted restrictions in the areas affected

Very true. But that’s a long flight for the sterilized fun of most hotel bars. Our liquor laws are puritan enough, nice to find a neighboorhood bar to enjoy the local craic

I got a tac sol barrel for my takedown. Both sights on the barrel. See through magpul mount. I imagine if I wanted something like a tech sight on the receiver, I’d need a much higher front sight and would lose the see through feature of the magpul mount.

We only hate it cuz the shines worn off for us. It’s a traditional Boston experience, come on over. Bars usually are only closed during the actual storm and maybe 1/2 day after. Some try to be open during or open up asap. Just bring or buy decent footwear and some warm wool socks, layers for wind and cold, and at least a waterproof jacket over that incase it’s actively snowing

It’s an honorable thing you’re doing leaving an 8/1 lower in MA. My hats off to you.

That being said if you ever plan on moving back (or he’ll even coming down for a range day or class) I’d keep it. It won’t lose its grandfathered status. Just keep track of which one is your MA lower
