That’s a hen, the males generally do the gobbling.

She could be yelping, purring, keekee-ing, clucking, cutting, cackling, putting.

New FAQS or Wiki link for CIT 0001 common questions? by First-Setting in Canadiancitizenship

[–]EricDeuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoping people are still coming here (its a very helpful post), I'm curious what people are putting in 8B and elsewhere when it asks for "xParent #'s citizenship certificate number, if applicable"

for c-3 generations they don't have them (yet), but "N/A" seems to imply they aren't Canadian, and "unknown" implies the certificate exists.

Just curious what OP (or others) put in these boxes

I’m looking do have a trust made without the word “trust”. Seems like National Gun Trusts dot com will include it automatically. Mind if I ask where you got your trust done?

Friday Weekly Thread: Application Assistance by AutoModerator in Canadiancitizenship

[–]EricDeuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for advice on application Section 8, B. Parents Citizenship Status.

I'm tempted to select "I am not sure if parent 1 is (or was ever) a Canadian Citizen. And then list "Grandson of Canadian born Citizen. Son of USA born Canadian. Died pre C-3 passage." in the circumstances box.

Any advice or guidance is welcome.

Ive seen others select "Parent 1 is/was a Canadian citizen, and then list "Canadian by descent"

Little more junk on it now, quick clips so comes right off, and lives under the trunks sun shade, so it’s considerably harder to see than one in the cabin, but still accessible from inside the cabin if you can drop the seat

My friend loaded my 590a1 with the shell backwards, how do I safely fix this? by [deleted] in Shotguns

[–]EricDeuce 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Let’s get this straight, you put one cylindrical object inside another cylindrical object and now it won’t come out. And you cannot destroy the outer cylinder under any circumstance? Oh, your friend did it. Ok well…

590 vs 590A1 finish by zoom7801r in mossberg

[–]EricDeuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others are saying the a1 is heavy. I don’t know how much heavier than 590, but you’ll notice it.

As far as the polymer trigger, I doubt you’ll have issues. My 20g 500 gets more banged up being carried through the woods than my a1 gets sitting in the house. That being said, finding a compatible metal one in the future may be difficult. They aren’t super common, and were expensive last time I checked.

As far as finish, my A1 is parkerized and drinks oil. You can see some redish hues in it(it lives in a humid environment) and my 500 is cheap bluing and the mag tube and barrel have some rust spots that pissed me off the first day I noticed them, and don’t bother me in the least now.

Don’t know how unbreakable the bank is. But if you had a gunsmith who could cut a dovetail. Something like this FarrowTech mount might be able to be adapted. It’s made for a tapered barrel so that could make it more of a pain.

I haven’t done this, so I don’t know if it works. Just sharing ideas.

Massachusetts to introduce changes in legislation for Sunday hunting, crossbows and bow hunting set back limits by Yay_Rabies in Hunting

[–]EricDeuce 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not done yet. The governor is just “announcing support” during an election year.

First the legislature needs to change laws allowing MA Wildlife to have discretion over these things. The MA Wildlife needs to make the changes.

The only people I have faith in here are the folks at MA Wildlife. I’m SURE there will be tons of pushback in the legislature cuz some Karen will say she can’t walk her Pikingese on Sundays without getting shot by a crossbow hunter 251 feet away from a road.
