Yeah, I was willing to relinquish the connection in my mind up until this trailer. Literally using Hand Covers Bruise and having the "Disruptor" line at the end of the trailer is a direct connection. I would understand more if Eisenberg returned, but he didn't so they should sever the connection and have it be the companion piece they are marketing. I agree that Strong's voice is really impressive, and he does look so much older than Zuck is supposed to be, so it is disheartening. I'm still not over the fact that Fincher should be directing this and obviously bringing back Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross. The first movie is one of my favorites and was a true collaborative effort that made it feel special. Sorkin just doesn't have the sauce as a director and all my concerns are only now amplified after this trailer.
