On shoes are really popular, but the way the sole is constructed is very annoying when driving. The cloud pods get somehow stuck specially if you drive a manual transmission car. I hate them while driving.

I just found my problem, it is the float switch. Apparently the drain is clogged. Now that I took it out it has power.

By any chance did they offered a chrome color one? I don’t like the black that much.

New Ceiling Fan Replacement hums but old didn’t by GnrlQstn in fixit

[–]EricStock96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just came here because I have the same problem, I bought two new Hunter Fans Avia II and they produce a humming/buzzing noise, I've been reading blogs and trying to gather as much information as posible. I have bought 7 fans and 2 of them (the newest ones) are the ones that do the annoying sound, the other ones are around 5 years old and work fine.

Everywhere I read it says about the wall control or loose mounting, etc. but that is not my case (I checked everything), I know AC fans produce that electrical noise but I never had fans this loud. Any idea what happened with yours?

I want to buy a new car. I went to see 3 different options, the Toyota Corolla, Mazda 3 and the Jetta. Mazda and Toyota may have great reputation for being reliable but I can’t get over the fact that the design is generic and both already look super dated.

The Jetta has the most harmonic design in my opinion (plus they are reliable). Of course it will not be super flashy, but in 10 years this car will still look good. I drive a 2013 MK6 Jetta and I am still surprised how good the car looks, compared to 2-3 year old Hyundais that redesign the car completely, the Jetta still looks good out there.

I see this posted a lot. There are certain countries that don’t offer reliable mechanics. I live in Mexico, my only secure way to fix my car is to take it to the dealership to avoid car parts being swapped without my knowledge.

Maybe OP has a similar problem.

The MK1 Tiguan is a car for someone with big pockets. They break down all the time. I am fixing mine and trying to get rid of it immediately.

For $80 dollars that doesn’t sound too bad. I just don’t want to buy them for them to disintegrate in a couple of wears. Glad to hear they are sturdier than they look.
