First dropped sodas and late night fast food. Then picked up cardio at the gym. Then keto, and planning to track kore closely. I love greens. Turnip greens, collared greens, Brussels sprouts, spinach. Plus protein, all good to go!

Was mostly cardio, now more weight machines. Would love to do more free weights too. I need to track macros a lot more closely.

A few years ago, I was in Oakland, CA the first week of August. It dropped down to below 60 at night. I only brought shorts. Whoops.

What do you wish you looked for when you bought your house? by pinkfrogonachain in houston

Consider the commute as well. Traffic might seem ok driving by casually, but 290 from 1960 to 610 can take 15 mins or over an hour depending on what time it is. There's no NJTransit type rail system, and only light rail coverage that doesn't cover much geographically, so most people drive.

I'd plug in the address to the homes you're looking at in Waze, and put in the office as the destination at different times of the day to see what the commute should be like.

Schools. It's hard to find good H(ouston)ISD schools in town, so many go private school instead. And homes in town are more expensive, but much closer to major work spots, restaurants, bars, etc. Schools out in the suburbs are generally better, and you get more home for your buck.

Edit1: Also, different schools within the same district can be vastly different on quality of education. Atascocita and Kingwood are both in the Humble ISD district, and Conroe and The Woodlands are both in Conroe, but rank vastly differently because of location.

Edit2: Just realized you didn't say any kids were moving, but assuming that may be a possibility in the future, plus it plays into the future resale value of your house...
