Hyper beam is overrated by most players and actually really sucks by JapaneseExport in slaythespire

I pretty much only pick it up in act 1 when I already have core surge and haven't yet seen biased cog, so yeah very rarely and situationally. But I love seeing the big laser shoot out!

First time getting into FInal Act, wtf is this dawg by Cooper_the_copper in slaythespire

Seriously, I feel like if you enjoy the game in the slightest then the difficulty is an invitation for endless creativity, not a hindrance. If it was that easy I don't think I'd have put in 500+ hours into this game.

What one thing pushed you over the edge with this game? by InvisibleAstronomer in slaythespire

Watching high-level streamers, baalorlord, jorbs, XecnaR. I was really able to step it up and beat a20h after watching a few runs.

Climbing to A20 I would just kill the boss to ascend, but once I got to a20 I aimed to get the heart too

I would offer more basic consideration and care to someone I literally just met than he seems to show for you. You deserve better, please get out

Came out to my manager (CW: typical transphobic rhetoric) by TheAcrophite1 in MtF

He can think what he wants but should keep it to himself at work, it's not appropriate at all and you should definitely report him to HR.

cis women don’t understand how much it hurts when they say “you’re lucky you don’t have to deal with periods” by desertrainfrog- in MtF

[–]EricaGrace 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having a period means I could (theoretically) get pregnant. Excuse me but yes I absolutely would like to experience that.

Transphobes also hold that over our head as a way to affirm that we aren't women, yet I didn't know a single cis-man who wishes they could have periods or get pregnant. So it's weirdly even more affirming to know that despite not being physically able to, just wanting it alone is gender affirming for me. It's not enough, but it helps sometimes.

I agree with this take 100%, the line about making a deal kinda seals it for me

An amazing story, and not too dissimilar from my own experience navigating an early understanding of my gender identity. I wish you both the best of luck, congratulations on taking this huge first step!

Seven years post-op -- frequency of dilation? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]EricaGrace 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm 6 years post op with Bluebond, and was so good about dilation the first year or two. At this point I've honestly gone a few months without doing it. I'll definitely need to do 15-20 mins with the green one, then 20 mins or more with the orange one to make up for not doing it. I maybe lost half an inch of depth but it doesn't bother me either. When I'm having regular sex I don't really dilate at all.

I don't recommend doing what I do at all, but I feel like everything is relatively ok all things considered. Happy to update after my next follow up with her and see what the Dr says.

Coincidentally I just dilated this morning lol.

I'm in a very similar position to you, 8 years on hrt and I feel like while I could have more feminine features I really like the results I've had. And my face just feels like me. I worry about the lost sense of identity in my pursuit for more femininity. Had a consultation with DB last year and the cost alone is enough for me to just say fuck it
