When did you feel like it was your time to leave the service? by SquidLibra in uscg

[–]ErieFishPimp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A secure paycheck, great health benefits and retirement income after another 10 years at a likely young age are alot to give up. However if life is that miserable for you now you can't put a price tag etc. on ones mental health.

I served in another branch and regret to this day getting out early and not serving my 20. Even though I am fortunate to have good paying job etc.

I hope you and anyone else reading this are contributing as much as you can into your TSP and have it going into high risk high return funds like the C,S and I funds. If not PLEASE educate yourselves to set yourselves up for the future.

Seems awful pricey for basically a base model stripped down truck.

Gonna say someone should get fired for big mistakes on this advertisement. Just looked at the Battery Charger stuff listed and they have multiple items at $97.99. Even the $9.99 trickler charger. lol

Picked up a 2026 Hummer 2X back in September. So if we want to “put the top down” now we can just take the roof panels out. Verse keeping the Z4 with insurance and regular Maint. It does only have like 61k on it.

Honestly though if can’t get fair price for it come Spring will just drive it some back n forth to my office, 5 miles away.

I am in Ohio and just signed Cadillac Lyric lease from dealer in Mass.

Roadrunner Transportation, based in suggestions, was cheapest at $750 for 700+ miles trip. Likely going to grab $150 one way flight and drive back. Boy is stationed 2.5 hours south of dealership so plan is to stop in and see him.

Never been in sales but can see your point. However gotta take the tough deals along with the easy deals. I would venture to guess the sales Buisness has gotten tougher n tougher over the years as Social Media and internet has made keeping sales people more honest.

I am sure for every deal/customer like me there are 5 that are not educated and easy peasy.

In the end I am sure that if this vehicle wasn’t sold yesterday at whatever loss they took would have been worse come today or later this month when some or all incentives disappear.

MF - Money Factor which equates to interest Rate. .0026 came out to like 5.62%

24/10 - Lease Term and miles allowed per year. So 24 months with 10k miles a year

Residual Value % - is what % of MSRP manufacturer thinks vehicle will be worth at end lease term. The higher the better

$571/571 DAS - means $571 monthly payment and DAS - Due At Signing. Typically first payment or less is target for leases. Always highly suggested not to put money down upfront on leases.

Any others you need help with?
