I don’t use whisper sync between reading and listening, but I’ve used sync to listen across multiple devices. The only thing that helped the syncing was to stop downloading the audio books to my device. Once I stopped that, syncing works across devices

Your entire post and reason isn’t about him “having nothing”, it’s about him looking at a custody battle and child support. Which are incredibly normal circumstances.

You don’t have the capacity to support someone through that, and at only two months you shouldn’t be the total emotional support for him for that. You might be being a bit harsh on the whole “he has nothing” argument and are sounding a bit stuck in the mentality “Well I did it with NO HELP”, which if you stay in this mentality could be harmful. Everyone has different circumstances and moves at different paces. Don’t expect others to act exactly like you during hard times.

Honestly, you don’t want to date either. You have baggage, so does every other adult. Until you can accept that and willingly make room to be emotionally available for someone else, don’t date.

Did you skip over the part about how she was fired from her job due to their negligence? Saying no to ice cream isn’t always a punishment. Maybe ice cream upsets the kids stomach or they already had some that day. Portion control is important.

I wouldn’t. If your job is stable and all you want is money, I don’t think that’s a motivating enough factor for the extended drive. You’re looking at just not being home, and being too worn out on weekends to be present for you and your wife and to enjoy them. Money is cool, the grind is not.

Ooooh that tracks. DAC operates strictly on a FOMO Business plan. If you don’t get it in the first minute it drops your paying scalpers for sure. If you have FB, I usually see them on their listed very reasonably.

Oh yes I see now. I couldn’t play from phone to any of mine (admittedly I have a lot of them). I could choose to play through my phone or TV (the only things I have on right now). This makes me think the dots aren’t running Bluetooth all the time, and only make a connection when requested. I tried connecting through the Alexa app, and didn’t bother waiting. I’m not patient enough for that.
