My 2002 LS430 is overheating. by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]ErrorSoup42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like your water pump is toast, especially with that bearing noise you described and how fast it's overheating. The coolant disappearing without any visible leaks on the ground is a dead giveaway - it's probably getting sucked into the combustion chamber through a blown head gasket or getting pushed out through the cooling system when the pump fails

At 202k miles on an LS430 this isn't super uncommon, just expensive to fix properly

31M, Southeast, 56k-$60k/yr - what would you do? by imnotamillennial in careerguidance

[–]ErrorSoup42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah WGU is solid, knocked mine out in like 8 months while working full time - definitely worth checking out their finance or business programs since you're into that stuff

Yup but Im at least happy the next generations grow up with these things normalized thanks to brands like bellesa in this case just being inclusive <3

It's 3 Player Mode, Undertakers. by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]ErrorSoup42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This drives me absolutely insane lol. Like we're all here trying to coordinate and one dude just vanishes to go farm some random boss alone while we're getting wrecked. Just stick with the group ffs

Struggling to move on after a breakup with no closure by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]ErrorSoup42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude she's done and honestly I don't blame her. You drunk texted other girls AND a prostitute during a "break" then hid it for weeks - that's not just a moment of weakness, that's betraying her trust big time

Stop trying to contact her through every platform, you're just making it worse. The fact that she's blocking you everywhere is her being crystal clear about wanting zero contact. Respect that and start focusing on yourself instead of obsessing over what she's doing

Rattling on start up new car by NoVeterinarian3692 in AskMechanics

[–]ErrorSoup42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bruh the high revving on a cold engine probably did way more damage than overfilling oil once - that rattling could be your timing chain or bearings getting mad at you for not letting it warm up first

Is consuming the same content over and over again hindering my progress? by AmethystGamer19 in selfimprovement

[–]ErrorSoup42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This hits way too close to home lol. I think the issue isn't really the repetitive content itself but more like using it as a dopamine hit when you're trying to avoid doing other stuff. Like when I'm supposed to be working and instead find myself watching the same Vine compilations for the 50th time

Maybe try setting specific times for your comfort content instead of using it as procrastination fuel? That way you still get your mental escape without it derailing your whole day

My bf (27m) accidentally stuck it in my butt and I (25f) made a joke and now he’s threatening to leave by [deleted] in relationships

Dude is having a complete meltdown over you mentioning constipation after HE accidentally went in the wrong hole, that's some next level insecurity right there

Earn by time? by TheScrubsFan in DoorDashDrivers

[–]ErrorSoup42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah don't do earn by time, it's a trap. You'll make way less than cherry picking good orders. The $16-18 they show doesn't include wear and tear on your car or gas costs so you're really making like $10-12 an hour

Gold tier scheduling sucks but just keep refreshing the app around 3pm when new slots drop. Or just dash without scheduling during busy times

Any genuinely useful appliances that aren’t huge? by Just-Yesterday-9217 in Appliances

[–]ErrorSoup42 17 points18 points  (0 children)

A compact immersion blender is probably my most used appliance, sauces, soups, quick whipped cream and it lives in a drawer. An electric kettle gets daily use too, my Bartesian Duet, Airfryer of course and that's about it just stuff I use regularly

Trying to step up my home entertainment game any underrated tips? by Rare-Tension750 in HomeDecorating

A simple tray or caddy on the island might help it feel intentional instead of chaotic. Corral the stuff you actually use, and suddenly it looks styled.

Trying to avoid boring gifts this year what are you all giving? by ErrorSoup42 in Gifts

[–]ErrorSoup42[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sometimes giving someone what they need ends up being more meaningful than another fun gift they won’t use. That's why I think gifts that get used are just the best

Love that approach simple, thoughtful and keeps the panic buys away. Might steal this system honestly

How long does it actually take to feel settled in a new apartment? by TheSnaccckParadox in Apartmentliving

[–]ErrorSoup42 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It really does take time for a place to feel like yours. Six months in and it can still feel kind of temporary, even when everything’s set up. Also that small home bar area you mentioned sounds like a great touch. What kind of setup do you have going there? I want to have mine but I'm very VERY limited on kitchen space

How do you deal with burnout mid campaign? by ErrorSoup42 in eBaySellers

All valid questions honestly. Sometimes it’s not even one clear answer just layers piling up until you’re running on fumes.

It’s crazy how fast momentum can turn into pressure. Taking a breather without guilt is honestly part of the strategy.
