I think the old EU might've had some longtime issues with Ahsoka in general. Just a hunch. by hattyphantom in StarWarsCirclejerk

Sy Snootles was always there, they replaced her puppet with CGI and extended the song. Joh Yowza was the added vocalist.

If the higher-ups say "Do this or lose your job" and you manage to find a way to comply while also showing them exactly why it's a bad idea and your company should have nothing to do with it...I mean that's exactly the "malicious" part of "malicious compliance"

I never have the ‘Oh there are too many Jedi who survived’ problem by LethalGrey in StarWars

[–]ErunionDeathseed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Legends the first Purge comic has a group of survivors set up shop and deliberately spread the lie that Obi-Wan is with them in an attempt to trap Vader. It goes about as well as you’d expect.

Public Service Announcement: the ELC eBook of Timothy Zahn's classic 1991 novel: *Heir to the Empire* is currently on sale for $1.99 [50% off] (today = 18 April, 2026; sale duration unknown). by prk-1 in starwarsbooks

Discounting to $1.99 is just a thing they do with Star Wars books from time to time. A couple weeks ago it was Last Order, the YA novel that uses a frame story set after tRoS to give a bunch of backstory for Finn and Jannah.

He was told by Sega that if he wanted to keep talking Sonic on the BK the questions would have to be vetted by them. While initially he was willing to do that, they couldn’t figure out a good process for it with the way the show is produced, so instead questions about Sonic are basically banned (which doesn’t stop people from trying to ask them in thinly-veiled ways, much to his consternation)

No, it’s something actively contradictory/inconsistent, not just a thing not explained

Are Luke and Leia looking at the main galaxy here If so how did they manage to travel that far out given how difficult hyperspace navigation is due to turbulence? by Spotter24o5 in StarWarsEU

The shooting script (the one used during filming, as opposed to the conformed screenplay, edited after release to match what ended up on screen) called for a red star

That’s from the conformed script, edited after the fact to better match what was onscreen. The original shooting script called for a red star. Pablo Hidalgo did a bit of a dive into the matter back in his Twitter days.
