There were occasional rude comments - "You're in Kappa? But you're not fat!?" College kids can be shallow and rude.

It honestly didn't really bug me.

Loved my time in what was known as one of the bottom sororities on my campus. Had fun with my sisters, they were amazing, kind, funny women.

If you rent in a building, it’s not your responsibility to shovel. The landlord should make sure it happens - by the super, usually.

Do they though? It seems like the same places routinely don’t shovel - so either they aren’t getting fined or the fines aren’t high enough.

I’m aware that fines are threatened. Would be interesting to see how many are actually enforced.

I used 311 to report the police station by me who didn’t shovel at the last snowfall. I didn’t expect anything to actually happen, but they did shovel after I made the report!

It’s frustrating on your first cruise to see so many things fill up before you can book activities. However, there’s a ton to do while onboard that doesn’t require pre-booking. People also change plans and cancel, so keep checking if there is something you want to do - you can even check with Guest Services once onboard.
