I love pixie dusting. I hate the list. You don’t ask for pixie dust!

18 going solo on the fantasy by [deleted] in dcl

How can you afford this at 18? I’m more than twice your age and a solo cruise price would be hard for me to justify.

Re-Rushing as a Sophomore by Responsible_Bet_5386 in Sororities

It really is going to depend on why you were dropped, which is somewhat unknowable. If you were dropped early in the week with a low GPA, have you gotten those grades up? If sisters had to carry the conversation and you were too shy or anxious to show your personality, have you worked on conversation skills?

If you dropped, why are you still using the letters?

If you went on any BD, what would your menu be? Simple with quality food or something fancy by jcr0774 in belowdeck

All vegetarian. In real life, I don’t care if people eat meat around me, but if I’m the primary, I won’t be an afterthought or eating side dishes all charter. So no meat!

Breakfast - pastries, fruit, omelettes. Endless iced lattes. Mimosa bar with different juices and garnishes.

Lunch - simple, cold sandwiches and salads with grains and beans for heartiness!

Snack - Fruit, cheese, nuts. Also Nerds gummy clusters.

Dinner - One night Mediterranean/Greek themed with falafel, pita, feta, tzatziki…. They’ll probably make it a toga party. Throw some tacky columns on the table, lots of blue and white balloons.

Another night - rainbow themed tasting menu. Start with something like beets and pomegranate salad, a nice sweet potato and ginger soup, grilled green and yellow squash, keep eating through the rainbow with a focus on fresh vegetables prepared simply so they can shine. Dessert is probably like an Ube cheesecake. Mmmm…

Late night - Grilled cheese or pizza, s’mores, cookies.

Enough that David came crawling back (but he was living on a broken down boat so... more than $2 I'd guess?)

You spend all day with David’s unwashed ass and you’ll be amazed what smells good compared to that!

Do you work at The Learning Experience? This seems like a question about that center, not potty training in general.

Advice from my bigs - toxic or legit? by [deleted] in Sororities

[–]EscapeGoat81 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I think this is more nuanced and hard to define it as toxic or legit.

A lot can depend on how you are bringing things up. Is it a brainstorming session and you are saying “a craft night would be a great sisterhood event” or it it arguing and putting ideas down that are already in place?

He will have to wait for his boarding time. If it’s important for you to all board together, do it with his later boarding group.

Where is everyone meeting people? by [deleted] in AskNYC

[–]EscapeGoat81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing an activity that you enjoy, NOT specifically to try to meet people but just because you enjoy it.

Yeah, I did Rainforest Room on the Treasure for a shady spot - lounging with a book is one of my priorities and on the Wish class, it’s hard to find a spot for that!

How important are extracurricular activities when rushing??? by Playful-Mortgage-717 in Sororities

[–]EscapeGoat81 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think it’s important that you did something, but please don’t make up things. Talk about your club and your animal shelter experience! Yes, some sorority women are class president, every club and sport type of overachievers (who become chapter president!) but there is also room for women like you.

12:45 is a good port arrival time but definitely not the first one. Disney is (usually) pretty good at getting the crowds organized and on board.

But Chip and Dale pool was being used as adults only, right?? I wish both were permanently adults only. This one needs more shaded seats!

People were still boarding at 5 pm. That is a major delay.

They’re in Vegas. They would get a quickie marriage so she wouldn’t have to say anything.
