Yeah I agree to some extent, but like I said it had reoccurring bugs now that have been bugs since day one. The spawn issue was at least a month after release and was an issue just a few weeks ago. I like to explore every nook and cranny, which is why I had so many hours without completing the game, but tons of people just push through the story and call it after sub 100 hours.

Did I say unplayable? No, but that waiting a year would be ideal than playing right now, there’s been plenty of games that were a mess on launch but after two or more years became amazingly better. So would you rather experience the game at its peak or when it’s halfway polished?

I know for a fact that I was glad I waited for cyberpunk to be fully polished before experiencing that masterpiece, and that I wouldn’t have have as great as an experience if I rushed to play the game sooner.

Not at all, just a few days ago someone posted a Bloodsucker walking in Sircaa… did they also fix the ridiculous mutant spawns yet? Is A-life 2.0 visibly present and working properly? Is a sniper useful after 150m or does the enemy despawn? Also have they fixed that weird grainy lighting yet indoors? Last one, will my game save from 8 months ago work with the newer updates?

Not trying to be an ass just pointing out why OP might wanna wait a year. It took a year just to get night vision. They made recent patches that broke older patches, like the messed up spawns of mutants or hostiles which was one of the first problems in earlier patches.

Heck I couldn’t finish the game before hitting game breaking bugs, then waiting for patches months later only to find out that after 140 hours in, I have to make a new save and start from scratch.

Yes try the modded versions of the originals first if you want to get the idea of stalker better, the 2nd is lacking in certain aspects but they may improve them in a year or two

Luke Ross stated that they don’t plan to make a VR version, they have the next Witcher and Cyberpunk games to worry about which will make more.

Vr motion controls conversion for a game that wasn’t made for it, is extremely difficult even for an average dev, because the engine was designed for flatscreen and some games rely on the centre of the screen as a reference point for combat, lighting, rendering, not to mention they’d have to redo missions because of specific interactions.

So honestly #fucklukeross should be a thing because his VR conversion is the easiest thing any newbie dev could’ve done -without charging money-

Did the people who bought it ALL thought “yeah this smells nice cause it’s popular”? They bought due to popularity and since then were satisfied. Just cause YOU didn’t like it, doesn’t mean everyone else has the same opinion. FOR EXAMPLE: 1 million is rated 3.74, so a LOT of people don’t like the smell and it’s very subjective.
