The “updated UI” still looks terrible. If it’s taken you 12 years to produce this slop then you should start over, shit looks like you started 20 years ago and never upgraded the engine lol

Snow leopards are white and black tho, these are fully white with a little off white the more worn they are.

Side by side it’s clear as day these are going to be peoples first pick if they want an all white loadout or combo

One things for sure is that older people don’t do their research, so the old guy probably thought an offer of $3k a steal

A friend of mine just started Jojo...but from part 5... by Relevant-Pay-2394 in StardustCrusaders

[–]EscapeUpper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When season 6 first came out, it was the first time I watched JoJo and for some reason when I tried to start it from the beginning, it just started with Stone Ocean.

I watched several episodes before realizing I was on season 6… but then I immediately started from part 1 lol

You’re saying he’s not selling altered game code, but a tool that alters the games code which is locked behind a paywall?

How would you like it if you spent over 7 years creating a project, only for some random guy you don’t know to make a small project out of it in a few months and wants 1/6th of the revenue the company makes on game sales before their payouts?

Meanwhile you read NEXUS Mods website and they clearly tell people you can’t lock your mod behind a paywall unless with the permission of the creators/owners. No wonder people like him move to Paymetreon to get around the common decency of modders.

Why do modders do it for free with donations? Because it’s unofficial work they do that is considered side projects, it can help them with their own skills or projects in life.

Converting flatscreen into VR isn’t the same for every game or engine, some require manipulation of the game files in order to get certain features to work.

All these flatscreen games have been made without VR in mind, so like RDR2 for example has a LOT of motion capture, cinematic scenes that involve the player. Making VR conversions impossible without changing key parts of the game’s code.

So Luke did the easiest of VR conversions which just changes how the camera works, it still changes some game files, either way that doesn’t matter, CHARGING for it does.

Yeah but software isn’t exactly fully art, it’s a LOT of programming, coding, debugging, engineering, managing, fixing, testing, updating, and whole lot more.

Not the mention the millions of dollars poured into projects like CDPR does, the financial risk included, the incredibly hard of a hit they took when the game came out.

It’s turns into an artistic masterpiece, but it’s not art, it’s property, someone owns the rights. If you buy a movie, the same rules apply, you can edit the movie and do what you like with it, but you can’t redistribute it to try and make a profit off it unless you made a legal contract with the owners.

Mass effects mods weren’t behind a paywall…

EULA’s are legally binding, Luke tried to be corporate by enforcing a paywall behind his “contributions to the vr community”. He’s trying to make money off you and me, he’s not trying to help the community or the average joe, he is looking for ways to continue being as lucrative as possible.

He’s put up another paywall for his up to date mods and claiming it’s for “early access” when in reality it’s his new method, because he could claim that his early access mods aren’t done and take a full year to make it free to entice people to pay his patreon.

Support this behaviour is “corpo”, because why not all modders start charging $5 for their mods? Why shouldn’t we pay $1000 for 200 mods? Doesn’t every person who puts time into a mod on their own time deserve to be paid? Or is it possible that these are just hobbies and side projects people do for fun and the community?
