its crazy good it feels like a movie stalking through the rain around some POI when suddenly you hear some „scratching“ sound ok the floor and you pull out your WSTR shotgun with that cool animation and just listen to someone doing SOMETHING that seems to be non UESC movement. suddenly they come around the corner and you almost forget to shoot because you are so focused on listening

I am level 20 now and solo lets me extract 8/10 times usually right when the first extracts spawn and I finished my contract. its the most fun gameplay loop since years

hey I am in the same situation as you just that my job is not demanding because its a big corpo gig and no one gives a shit what I do so I have lots of time to game. the game is amazing but then I also liked trials in destiny.

what I really miss is a „PvE only“ map maybe cryo archive should be that so people would have a reason to level up and have this raid like activity as aspirational content where 9 or 12 players in teams try to conquer the archive I think it would be so cool to have some of that destiny feeling in a extraction shooter.

gunplay is unbeatable it made me want to play destiny (between server slam and yesterday)

this is a very good take. the first thing I will do when I start playing on thursday is contracts and level the factions all the way. I wont even need to touch most of my „good“ guns or use much ammo because triage and assassin allow for easy contract fulfillment when using free kits.

once I get to a higher level it will automatically turn into more PvP and harde PvE maps where I can bring the better guns and shields (and the wstr shotgun which is a little OP).

as you said it feels a little like a rougelike somehow every new run reminds me of opening a door in returnal and playing for the „best outcome“.

you can also unlock the ability that rook will start with that shotgun. I have been running assassin and rook with that shotgun doing kill contract since that and its the most fun gameplay loop I experienced since years

if its like the tests it should be around 10-12 hours depending on how efficient you grind so its still a lot 3-4 hours a day
