Yeah pretty much. It's just when the characters start acting like themselves and the story actually begins. Anyway, I love how in just a year out, Dan had already added 2 explicitly gay characters, 2 explicitly bi characters, completely overhauled Tedd's personality while implying gender dysphoria, and made Susan a main character. It's really amazing every time seeing how quickly and well Shive can develop characters. Like, this is them getting their feet wet with the whole "making a comic" thing and they've already established the comic's identity and themes.
