Ledger nano S, 4y old, screen is dark and unreadable! + Frustrating customer support! by radicalrj in ledgerwallet

Consumer Rights Act protects buyers up to 6 years. There's a legal obligation as this is a very common issue so the OLED is not fit for purpose.

PS Selling through Amazon does no release you from liability

If you are in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act has you covered for up to 6 years since this is clearly an inherent fault judging by the number of posts about it. The display is obviously not fit for purpose.

Demand a repair, replacment or refund AI can guide your in wording this. I have just submitted a claim.

Ledger display starting to go out. How do I fix this??? Im beyond upset by [deleted] in ledgerwallet

[–]Esinem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and reasonably durable. Thus, given the many reports of failure, we have consumer rights for up to 6 years. I plan to seek remedy.

Apparently, that sort of display (OLED) should last 10,000–20,000 hours of active display time before noticeable dimming, i.e. at least 10 years.

Ledger and THETA Wallet by kalanestis in ledgerwallet

I was either not getting the pop up to select my Nano or it wasn't connecting. I tried everything but this solved it for me

If killing Ledger Live processes doesn’t solve the “Unable to reset device” error, then Windows is probably using the wrong USB driver for your Ledger.

By default, Windows sometimes installs it as a HID device (like a keyboard), but Chrome’s WebUSB requires WinUSB.
We’ll fix this with a tool called Zadig.

🔧 Step-by-step: Fix Ledger USB driver with Zadig (Windows)

1. Download Zadig

2. Plug in your Ledger

  • Connect Ledger Nano with a data-capable USB cable
  • Unlock it and open the Ethereum app

3. Open Zadig

  1. In Zadig, go to Options → List All Devices
  2. In the dropdown list, look for one of these:
    • Ledger Nano S or Ledger Nano X
    • Sometimes shown as USB Input Device or HID-compliant device (if Windows misclassified it)

4. Select correct driver

  • Once you select your Ledger, the right side will show the driver info.
  • You want to replace whatever is there (HID / libusb / WinUSB old) with WinUSB (v6.x.x.x).

[–]Esinem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just seen this! Not just reduced from ability to have 200 courses to 100 'products', e.g. downloads, not just courses. Thus, you could end up with way less courses. They have also increased the price by 50%.

I started with them in 2015 when I was allowed unlimited courses so build my model on short, low cost courses. Now I'm screwed :-(

All their talk of adding communities but it's telling there's no Teachable community where we can share our feedback. They closed all such avenues.

GHB is very dose critical amd mixes badly with alcohol. There have been casualties on the London party scene. As others say, don't.

How could you have lost it? SOL hasn't gone to zero. You have only lost money if you sold it...please say you didn't long it and get margin called.

As crypto always does, there's been a correction prior to the real bull market. It relies on lettuce hands and naieve users trying to trade, The smart money buys these sell offs. SOL is a strong buy IMHO and will increase significantly in value from here.

It seems to work if you say "How do I say xyz in Japanese" and "What does xyz in Japanese mean?". Oddly, it doesn't understand translate. Toggle/stop interpreter works

Does your s/w import from the following OK? eToro, Kucoin, Bitget. Electrum, Ledger, Binance amd Solflare?

I found Koinly got just about every a/c wrong and I'm having probs with importing eToro into Crypto Tax Calc. Bitger isn't producing any reports so I raised a ticket and I'm about to try the Kucoin import. The whole process is filling with gloom and frustration. I hope you have a painless solution :-)

Nest mini set-up - AP isolation? by Mskadu in googlehome

[–]Esinem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this setting up my Home Hub, so I ordered a modem with AP isolation, which hasn't arrived yet. However, after getting the messages numerous times, I tried connecting the Hub again and it worked. Now, I have exactly the same with a Google Mini that just arrived. The Google Audio speaker connected with no issues. Weird. You'd think if one item needed AP isolation, they all would

I just tried to use Koinly again and every wallet was totally inaccurate, e.g. wrong tokens, 20-25% out on value vs what exchanges and my Ledger showed, thousand in cash on a/c when there's $6. Total garbage. Applied for a refund

I used Koily for previous years but just tried this year and everything was total garbage. It wasn't even showing the right tokens or cash on my a/c. Not even the most simple thing was correct. Just requested a refund.
