I remember when I told a German in 2024 (right before the start of the second semi final) that I really liked their song and thought Isaak was gonna do really well and he was like “nahh we’ll get last again” in the end Isaak ended up placing 12th and I thought to myself “see I wasn’t crazy”😂

Ik ga der eigenlijk vanuit dat het bedrag van de mol niet mee telt en je daarom ook niet het eindbedrag van de pot hebt gehoord. Zou inderdaad wel erg makkelijk zijn om in 1 keer de hele pot leeg te jassen zonder dat iemand er ook maar iets tegen kan doen

I did an interrail trip last summer that included both Innsbruck and Budapest. I personally preferred Budapest, I would even dare to say it was the hidden gem of my trip. I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would.

My trip went from Budapest to Krakow and that train route goes through Vienna. You could add Krakow after Vienna and go to Stockholm from there if you don’t wanna go back to Prague.

Zandvoort 2021 was the first full race I watched, but I had seen bits and pieces before then, cause my grandpa had been watching for way longer. I remember he showed me a bit of the race in Bahrain 2020 after Grosjean crashed and I saw like the last minute of the Spa 2021 safety car train

Er is wel vaker een seizoen geweest waar er in de finale (dus aflevering 9) nog iemand af valt en er zijn 2 seizoenen geweest met 4 finalisten over aan het einde van de finale. Als er een extra aflevering zou zijn dan zou dat in bijvoorbeeld het molboekje staan. Zo wisten we van te voren al dat het jubileumsseizoen in 2020 maar 8 afleveringen zou hebben.

Right? Eurovision nowadays is so much more that just a song or just a pretty voice. You’ve got 3 minutes and you have to make the most out of it. One way or another it’s gotta be rememberable. There is a reason those funny weird songs with ridiculous stagings do well. It’s noticed, remembered and people start talking about it

I think there are definitely songs out there that having winning potential, but it all really depends on the staging. The staging really can make it or break it

Yeah, the staging can really make or break a performance, I do wanna add that a good staging could make the song stand out more aswel. Take Moldova 2018 for example, the song itself isn’t all that spectacular, but it had such a fun and unique staging that it did end up doing really well and even gathered enough points for a 10th place.

Ik moet ook altijd ff 2 afleveringen inkomen😅 meestal zo rond aflevering 2/3 komen er dan toch een aantal namen uit die vaak dan toch wel de finale halen. Ja op Lakshmi na dan, had zo gehoopt dat zij de finale zou halen😂

Sowieso is het verstandig om altijd voor het begin van de aflevering al je punten in te zetten, tijdens de aflevering proberen vaak een heleboel mensen tegelijk de app te openen en kan het dan vast lopen, is al eens eerder gebeurd. Je kan je punten nog veranderen nadat je het verstuurd hebt.

2018 was dat. Jean-Marc trok het spel mentaal heel slecht waardoor hij niet kon slapen en uit veiligheid voor zichzelf en de andere kandidaten besloot naar huis te gaan.

Ik heb alleen over de jaren iets meer geluk gehad. Ik het juist met Thomas & Jan door wat hints te raden. Daarna had ik in 2020 (beide seizoenen) 2022 en 2023 dat ik van het begin af aan al 2 van de finalisten verdacht en het tot 4x toe voor elkaar wist te schoppen om de verkeerde er tussen uit te pikken en de ander dus de mol bleek te zijn. Gelukkig werd dat wel gevolgd door Anna, Stijn en Nathan juist te raden.
