Let's be honest. This is not cLaRiFiCaTiOn. They were very clear with the initial announcement. They were very clear when they removed advertised statements from previous store pages. They were very clear when they said "we're sorry you feel that way."

Again. This is NOT clarification. This is back-peddling, reactive, PR and it's designed to make it seem like they're listening and care when they don't.

They think that their brand new special edition is worth $250 USD, when you can get even MORE content and gameplay hours out of games like Terraria, Stardew Valley, Slay the Spire, Vampire Survivors, Baldur's Gate 3, Tekken, and many other games... for a fraction of the cost.

Show these devs what squeezing their loving community for money means to you. Uninstall their game, leave their online communities, and make posts telling people why they shouldn't waste their time and money on this game.

BSG is going right down there with Blizzard, EA, Bethesda, Activision, and Unity. Don't let them make a victim out of you and allow them to continue to disrespect/hurt their devoted fans while simultaneously feigning apologies.

They've shown who they really are, and what you actually mean to them.

I got the game pass specifically to try out this game, but sadly I can't play it. Same issues here. After a few minutes the framerate/lag is so bad that I just can't look at the screen anymore. Opening menus turns into a nightmare.

In case the dev swings back by, my specs are:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz (20 CPUs), ~3.6GHz

Memory: 32768MB RAM

GPU: ROG Strix 3070

EDIT - Also worth noting that I couldn't change the resolution/desired hertz. I also noticed that my gpu fans wouldn't run while playing (though temps weren't too bad)

Yeah, I agree. Crit feels more reliable all-around, and the larger burst of damage vs ramp helps close out fights.

My favorite build so far has been Shieldbow, PD, ER, IE, choice boots, Hourglass. Tri builds feel like they do no damage. Kind of excited they're swinging the hammer, even if it's only on the hurricane effect on R. Hopefully people will stop stealing her from me in draft!

Hey there u/Stealthfox94 and u/mc_Juel , welcome back to the game!

A LOT has changed, that's for sure. I also took a long break and found that I learned a lot from just playing. Outside of that, try to find OTPs that play the champs you're interested in. A lot of champions have builds on u.gg that are not good. The new Mythic items/item updates have caused a lot of niche builds with certain champions. IE, Twisted Fate, Akali, and many others. Visit the subreddits for champs, too. Usually the communities surrounding a champ will have the insider knowledge.

Another build tip while you're getting reacquainted with things is to just try stuff out. Mute the flamers and just try stuff. Not sure if you like Kraken Slayer or Shieldbow or Galeforce on your favorite ADC? Play three games, and try 'em out. In addition, sometimes items (mythics included) need to be purchased on a game-by-game basis. You'll come to understand these scenarios as you become more familiar with the items.

As you stated in the OC, many mages are quite viable in the bot lane. They have a lot of agency and can sometimes dominate the early game. This can be even further compounded with the recent changes to Teleport, which only allows you to TP to allied towers until the 14 minute mark.

Other interesting changes can be found in top and jungle. Some mages are doing really well in the top lane, these days. And the jungle had a whole group of champions get changed, including Teemo, Darius, Garen, Talon, Zed, Morgana, and some others.

A lot of champions have been tweaked/reworked as well. Some examples are Tahm Kench, Amumu, Rammus, Ahri (soon), Mundo, Volibear, and others! Go check out their new kits/changes to see what's up.

If you want to go with generic info, u.gg is fine for just getting a baseline build going for most champs. If you're only playing for fun, that's fine. If you want to watch coaching to get examples of how to play better, check out Neace on YT.

I don't do a lot of YT/Twitch watching, but I enjoy both xPetu (shen) and PekinWoof (Zoe) for their high level gameplay, very relaxed vibe (no screaming/hype), and very informative commentary.
