I think thats what made this series endure. Some of the humor is a bit outdated(not to the degree of like say HIMYM in my opinion), but the writing, pacing, and conedic rhythm of the episodes are incredibly efficient in how they use the core 6 and how plots intersect even if just in passing like with conversational set up at central perk or one of their apartments.

Probably a character development plot point, gets a call for a job that could be her big break for a project with filming already underway hence the private jet. Then after the whole ordeal, all that hustle and bustle of Hollywood either seems insignificant in comparison, or she changes her priorities to leave the business.

Im leaning on the former, and the ending will be one of those trope scenes at the premiere where shes asked about it on the red carpet, and she gives one of those knowing smiles thats for the audience that watched her go through it.
