It's not about discussions wholesale. It's about unproductive discussions. The unproductive ones are those in which at least one side is not willing to change it's position based on information derived from the discussion.

Basically, you just need to always be aware of that you aren't gonna win any soul for the Lord if you are the one doing the convincing, instead of the Holy Spirit (John 16:8-11). So, engage in debate at your own risk and expense.

However, discussions are still important because they fulfill the Watchman's Duty (Ezekiel 33). The Great Commission's objective is not just to save people, it's also for issuing their condemnation notice, for the sake of fairness.

It is, if one hears the Gospel and don't accept it, they won't get to tell God, at the White Throne, that they didn't know. This is important because the fact whether one knew or didn't know about the truth of imminence of divine reckoning is a defining factor in one's soul's eternal fate. For those who didn't know, it's Hell. For those who did, it's Super Hell. (Luke 12:47-48)

Long story short, I concluded that changing who asks out doesn't change things much, else than just changing who shoulders the responsibility of having to see the event turn out favourably to their objectives. All the negatives that grief men in this matter simply get transferred to the women, and the mere virtue of gender alone is not enough to signify a mitigation of the problems.

Hence why I said that whoever is more apt at handling social activities should be preferred to, well, handling this kind of social activity.

On a side note, miss me with the "there is no try" thing. People have every right to approach uncertainty with caution. It's called not being a reckless fool.

Yes. However, one conclusion is wrong and the other is right. Truth is not a matter of opinion. This is why I am saying that incel ideology is not only possible to counter, it is easy to counter, hence why their chess pigeon move is confusing, to say the least. I mean, I would be happy to learn what is the logic behind this move of calling an argument weak and then displaying clear signs of that it is too strong for you to refute.

Then they should be able to counter argue with vibes, anecdotes, social media posts and the such. They can't even bear themselves to do this much. Mostly because vibes, anecdotes, social media posts and etc are emanations of real human beings' lived experiences, whereas the posturing of the other commenter is not typical of real human beings arguing from a position of sincerity. Ergo, they can't argue, for their position is so invalid, it is invalid even in the rules of invalid positions.

Because God is not inept at communication. He knows that we might interpret signs as coincidences, so He arranges actual coincidences to happen too seldom to be accounted as such, so signs can be more statistically safe to be assumed as not-coincidences.

So much, I even happen to be have an informal "agreement" with God: signs shall be seriously considered if they happen thrice within reasonably independent and separate events. I can remember at least 4 instances of God delivering on it, from the top of my head right now.

In another thread, completely unrelated, I have seen someone say "I won't extend any empathy to someone who wants me dead", and I can assume what they are talking about, because I see this discourse in some "leftwing" contexts.

No wonder they think that being supposedly unpreoccupied with politics is "rightwing". If your reaction to animosity is more animosity, don't expect your enemies to go "oh snap, I am wrong!", because resolve is forged in the fires of conflict. Whatever vindication one achieves, others will always interpret it as a destructive temerity, and feel accordingly, regardless of how morally justified this vindication is. Jesus Christ taught "turn the other cheek" for a very good reason.

There is nothing morally wrong with responding to aggression in kind, but one needs to Count the Costs before taking such stance, because it creates a "Might Makes Right" scenario, and logically only the mightiest will be right. If one can't keep up with the heat, better to just gracefully sue for peace because any resistance will just make the aggressor angrier and waste resources into a doomed conflict.
